Pardon for off-topic question..

Compared to Huawei Honor 3C, this phone only have 1GB RAM instead of 2GB but its chipset and GPU actually get it a much higher benchmark score than the 3C.

I've read somewhere that in android, free RAM means wasted RAM so I guess maybe I can just overlook the 1GB-only RAM 1s is carrying as its chipset and GPU are clearly superior over 3C's. Nevertheless, RAM still play a part in the performance of a phone in either gaming or multi-tasking.

How much free RAM is actually available for usage in 1s?

Is the amount of RAM 1s carries sufficient to perform better than 3C in gaming (Asphalt 8/GTA Series/Many Others), multi-tasking and battery-sustaining?

If not because of the 1GB-lesser RAM this phone carry I would definitely choose it over 3C without thinking a second time although battery life is another concern over performance.

Anyone with thoughts for my question welcome to share with me as I'm only a newbie to the sceneĀ  icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm also like u before, prefer more RAM than CPU until got 4 days experienced with A850+
A850+ equipped with 1.7GHZ octa core + 1GB RAM (27k antutu).
After "freeze" all the bloatwares, got 450mb free RAM.
Open fb, twitter, whatsapp, browser (with 20 tab), waze, papago at the same time and no lag at all...
Checked free memory, balance around 150mb
I think with fast cpu, it can free up resources faster, that's why didn't feel any lag... although only with 1gb RAM
But sad due to poor wifi reception & no led notification, i keep it to my kids for watching movie...

If lenovo improve A850+ wifi & add led notification & chg battery to 4000mah (like p780) & retain AP price at RM400, it'll be most bang bucks compare to h3c
