hi guys,  i have just gotten my phone yesterday but i noticed my camera sometimes got error and say cannot connect to camera. i have to restart my phone only it's alright. is this a hardware or software defect?

i have to download the ROM from Mi Site and flash it on my own?   or can i just update it via the Updater?

Hi guys, I have recently got my hands on a Redmi 1S direct from China few days ago. I noticed that the battery drainage (even on airplane mode) just for about half a day, went down from 100% to 50%

So I decided to try the Greenify app (as suggested by people on the MIUI forum). I'm currently testing it, so if anyone wants to try, just go look it up on the Play store.

when the redmi1s is plugged to the pc, the pc shows a virtual optical drive instead of a removable storage device that i can transfer files to the redmi.

did i miss anything?
