I already flash to CN v29, rooted, install google play, and install ram expander. And I got extra 3gb of ram.
Need to test2 kaw tommorow and I will give the perfomance review.
Fisrt impression, open up 6 tab + calculator seems working flawlessly.

I just use the mi recovery.

Update, my experienced wit Ram expander.
-No significant performance I can say.
-open up 6 tab of dolphin browser + open up Boom Beach, go back to dolphin, it will reload again the pages.

Anyone understand how the data usage works?
I already set the data peak limit to 1gb.
But why it ask me to set mobile data usage?

UPDATE
I just install Clash Of Clan on my redmi.
My redmi can't get through the tutorial.
It will crash and close it self. Even the keyboard doesn't show up when insert the name in the game.
So, I decide to install the ram expander again to see if it really works.
Install the ram expander, set the path to my SD card, set 1gb of swap then activate it.
Open clash of clan, and walllah, it run smoothly.
I think you can use this app to run an apps that required very high ram usage. But not for multitasking between apps.

Mine sometimes working, sometimes not working. But most of the time the notification does not work.
FYI, I have enabled it in the MIUI notifications setting but the problem still exist.

Basically,
1- Download the update.zip file
2-Put it in to the internal storage(Not SD Card!)
3-Reboot to recovery mode
4-flash update.zip
5-Set permission for root in security app
6-Done. Can check at About Phone, the MIUI version must have xxxxxxxxxxx.0.1.

Me use it. No problem so far. Ver 3.19 ehem2.

Yeah,
I try off wifi and 3g disable it will get crash.
Found the solution, can try activate the ram expander without 3g and wifi first.
After it activate, then only you can toggle 3g and wifi on/off.

To enabled auto start, you enable it in the app and I also add the app to the auto start in security app. Then, when you reboot the phone, it will autorun the swap. The ram expander will appears in the notification bar.
Ermm, I also doesn't understand much how this app works actually. I just use it. Lol.

If you get XXXXXXX.O.1, you are already rooted.
Normal unrooted devide is XXXXXXXXX.O

Anyone dare to try the beta?
