Anyway to lessen the ram usage? I find Moto G to be more efficient. Almost can't tell the difference compared to 2GB. What happens when the ram is full, will it erase some data to allow new app to be opened?

found out a solution, change from global rom to non global rom, has almost 400mb free
|

I found out that the main culprit to the slow speed is the Global rom, after changing to non global rom it's much smoother.

There is only 1 other rom available for wcdma besides the Global rom which is super jerky and slow. Go to xiaomi website under Redmi 1s and download.

All depends on usage la. If every time on data and your reception is not stable, then only 2+hr, or if you are an avid gamer then max also 2hr+. If normal user who doesn't spend too much time on gaming and switch between wifi and data, 3-4hrs is possible.

the app will allocate a .swp file based on the memory size apportioned, in my case, 2GB file.

It's quite normal for the battery size, even 3000ma battery also you can get around 1 hour more only if you use 3g.
