Continuing from The Chimes & Perrenia @ Bandar Rimbayu

BANDAR RIMBAYU WEBSITE

Overview

Bandar Rimbayu is a premier township development inspired by nostalgia for a time when life was simple and people lived close to nature, in a safe, supportive neighbourhood.

Set in tranquil green surroundings on a 1,879 acre site, Bandar Rimbayu will be an iconic mixed development of residential, commercial, recreational and parkland components.

With a gross development value of RM11billion, Bandar Rimbayu will be an integrated township with residential, commercial and recreational components spread over 4 precincts : Flora, Fauna, Bayu and Commercial Hub.

Bandar Rimbayu’s strategic location with accessibility via 5 major highways to Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Subang, Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Puchong, Shah Alam and Klang Valley gives the township excellent connectivity.

yes...for own stay need to buy now... but i dont think it mature after 20 years... it may be takes 10 years... a bit suffer for new family to start with new area... but they dont need to think about for eg. schooling and etc... a mature family might join after atleast all accessible road available...
*
That is the sole purpose I purchased my unit. It is a good place to start a family and I have foresee that there will be a lot of investors for the first 2 phase. I am not sure about 3rd phase though because it is quite pricey.

I fail to get the supporting fact on my earlier statement but was told by my fren as architect is ok to extend on the back portion.  if you would have notice, many linked houses endlot or corner lot extend on the same concept as well.  So I believe, that's generally correct way to do it.
*
my friend told me if we were to extend on the back portion as fully concrete wall extension, then we have to submit the drawings to authorities. Usually authorities would approved it if the extension is less than 8 feet.

Just received another bill for water and electricity deposits today.

Wow, the Chimes ready to move in now?
*
I don't think so, my unit is only 45% completed based on the number of payments that they have asked from me.

Am not sure why I need to pay these deposits early.

I think Chimes almost done, wait for the road serving done only.

IJM is generous enough to draw down very late.

Else why ask so early?
*
QUOTE(slickz @ Jun 11 2014, 05:12 PM)
Yeah I got my request for deposit also. Quite a surprise to my monthly budget. RM 490 must pay before 23rd this month and need to head to the office to sign 2 copies of documents. Else they are not obliged to apply electricity and water for us.
*
Just came back from Rimbayu Office. Had to settle this before flying off for a long business trip.

It seems, my unit is only around 45-60% complete. Tried to go in and see the actual unit, but they won't let me in.

Earlier, the salesman told me, all Chimes unit will be equipped with single phase, when I sign the agreement, apparently it is 3 phase.

a lot developer still giving single phase even for newly VPed.  from the meter deposit you will know already.  if few hundred then confirmed single phase.  if rm1k, then confirmed 3phase.
*
TNB deposit only RM380. Water deposit is RM100, stamp duty is RM10.

But on the TNB document, it states there 3 phase.

Sorry, editted..total is RM490 based on receipt.

If they put it at the back there, then it is going to be a bit difficult to relocate it if so happen owners want to extend the kitchen.

yes, mingyew, anyway i also believe GnG will got case too.
But if non GnG will make you more worries, ofcoz we wish GnG.

In fact, now i am stay in GnG, i very comfortable that i start my car engine, go in house wait car warm up.
Which also quite no worries.
*
Don't get too comfortable, I live in GnG in Sunway right now. Last two month, my dad was held at parang point. A group of guys tried to take away his car. Lucky for him and some quick but not too bright thinking, he threw away the car keys up the roof. Me and family were all inside shouting and frantically trying to call the police and alert the neighbors. Once the thiefs could not find the car keys, they quickly hop into their cars and drove quickly before the cops arrived. From two weeks, cops have been beefing up their patrol cars and bikes and even setup a temporary booth beside the guard house just to make sure of that sort of incident happens again.

In Lowyat, I saw quite a lot non bumi.  But in the FB group, our Bumi friends are quite active.  Have you join the "Bandar Rimbayu" FB group?

Now the hot topic there is regarding the Chimes's "Reban Ayam"
*
LOL. I agree with them. I am expecting a much better gate and also fence since I am paying 600k for the house.

Do you guys think that we should group owners based on the size of the house for Chimes and Perennia or just group it based on Chimes and Perennia, no need the size of the house?
