Drove 140kmh on spring HW for the 1st time, good but not great.

Need some auto foam and stiff ring to gain confidence.

No you need bitumen base insulation material.

My Civic was sound proof by KL auto. If you use cheapo material, the glue will melt and leak to your roof cover. Worst the adhesive will cause the paint to rust.

Last time I did my whole car, don't have the price for top only.

I will revisit them to auto foam my car to ultimate package. All my cars were foamed.

hello, what kind of sound proof insulation material are they using? what is the price like? i am looking to install insulation for the doors
*
3 or 4 type materials at different location. Door, boot, engine cover, floor, door panel.

They are the most experience I come across so far. Price might be up already, go check out their new outlet at Glenmarie.

Btw, our city already certain level of sound proofing material. Just need to add extra for the wheels arch, roof that all. Sound damping at door panel effect very little.

I still have the material I bought online, will try out on of the weekend.

Btw, the claimed FC of 17km+/L is very achievable, yesterday late night I drove with Econ mode on, a bit of highway + suburban (means got a number of traffic lights) driving. thumbup.gif

My best 13km/l, mileage just 700km. Will change engine oil to full synthetic 0-20 1000 service. The default oil is mineral, Honda very ambitious to push it to 11,000km on change. thumbup.gif

I always choose the upgraded package during service, it upgrades the oil plus additive.

Can't recall the price, I did only twice yearly.

so foaming is a totally different thing than insulating?
*
Yes for those hollow sound during pot holes. And the handling is up 2 levels. icon_idea.gif

After foam, you do Stiff ring. Then only UR bars before you decided to change hi low kits.

I been through the process twice, but for City, I think foam and stiff ring is enough.

I am in Hartamas Shopping Centre now. Just now parked next to a Honda City silver!! sad.gif

Can compare with my Inspira side by side...no wonder the city boot so big...the car biot area was raised up...higher than my Inspira. The rear window view seems quiet small due to this. Do you guys have trouble looking at the rear view? Length wise, about same wih my Inspira. But width, I think my Inspira still wider.
The silver city looks quiet dirt y...hmm...not sure if silver is a good color now. ...hmm.gif
*
If the Silver City fully black tint, then is my car nod.gif

Silver is one of the tahan dirty color, black and white is the worst.

Did u install reverse camera? as what ive seen, many accessory shop will route the wiring from back to front, either underneath the floor carpet (normally this is the way they route it, along with other wirings...unless they having problem opening certain floor panels/carpets), or some shops will route the wiring in the ceiling panel (easier n faster job). If u got install reverse camera, high chance it could be the wires for that smile.gif
*
Usually route through door sill, when you open the plastic you can see the original wires are there too.
