Hi to everyone here,I just got my honda city v spec today

I must say that I am pretty disappointed with the touch screen feature because when I try playing hdmi from my phone especially when using apps like waze or google maps,the hdmi gets deactivates when my hand brakes are down or when the car is moving
Is there anyway I can disable this feature? Any means can be suggested such as hardwiring or through software changes.has anybody here tried to fix this?

Also I heard that the modulo body kit comes at about rm1300.how do u know if it is the original or a fake?

And as experience serves me well eventough the service manual or as mentions that it isn't possible.there might be loopholes which allows this feature to be bypassed.maybe using a different cable.? I just wanna use google maps u see

My question about module mods is because I wanted to know how do you practically determine how it is an original product or not

If anyone has any suggestions please say so but if there aren't then that's too bad.im not gonna sell my car off just because of one feature.so just chill out

I was thinking about the same thing but what I've gathered is that if the wires are not cut , the warranty should not be void.the similar concept applies when u install the back spoiler for the module kit whereby u need to drill holes on the back and connect the wires,however is the wires are not cut,the warranty should not be void

The software for the touch screen kinda reminds me a bit of ios itself,looks jailbreakable if us ask me but I just don't know how.i hope that in further updates the iOS in the car feature maybe added.

But I was wondering if anyone knows of a software crack which can somehow overwrite the restriction,cause I'm sure it's more on a software restriction as well.

Also on a side note,did anyone notice a creaking sound when trying to open the boot?

I agree completely, that's why I think that software mods are most likely the only way to go.it can possibly trick the touch screen system that it is on standby without raising the warning sound

Also, a small note to siamanggagap, I noticed that u have a reverse camera installed into ur default touch screen for rm600. Did u have done here in Malaysia or in Thailand? If I were to add a reverse camera, would it void my warranty?

Wanted to ask about the modulo body kit
I was at an accessory shop the other day and asked about it and the dealer said that he would recommend a PP local body kit instead of a Taiwan PU body kit
Are there any real difference between the 2 body kit materials? Price? Quality ? Etc

Oic that means that all cheap ones are locally made unless proven otherwise.however,what are the difference between the ori and the fake ones.i really can't tell the difference and to make things worse there's a separate bill for PP variety and PU variety.how to decide la boss haha...

That's one of the reason I'm hesitant to go with the original...I am just not confident on how to tell the difference between one which is the original or the kencing ones.its better to know that u have the fake one rather than to pay almost 2k more and realize u got the kencing one haha

So can someone share the differences between the 2 body kits...original and fake ones and also the PP versions and the PU version

Yup I saw ur car screenshot in the beginning of the thread and it is a real beauty in my opinion.
Bear in mind that I am not installing the body kit yet but opening my options for now,maybe waiting for the mugen kit.
If u look around Mudah.my and even some threads in lowyat forums,there are actually a few people selling so called original modulo kits ranging from rm1300-rm1800 .i can't even really say if it is truly original or not? How about their packaging or maybe an authenticity card that may come with the body kit?is there a way to purchase it directly from modulo itself?
