Yesterday saw two WA plate Modern Steel Metallic City together on the Cheras Kajang highway....dunno is coincidence or both owners bought the cars together.

driving up to ipoh from KL tonight. some1 said it is not recommended to stay at a constant speed for too long?
*
If you intend to run-in your engine, don't stay at a constant RPM for too long. That might mean varying your speed as well, but pay attention to the RPM not the speed.

seek advice from a pro, it says this Firestorm thing work to increase the sparks and burning capability, hence overworking the sparkplugs and shorterning the lifecycle of the sparkplug. Also might cause misfire.
*
Explain "overworking the sparkplugs"....

I know someone who has been using it on their car for 2 years with no negative effect. Some has even changed their spark plugs as part of normal maintenance schedule, and the plugs don't seem to be worn more excessively than normal.

no idea about this  icon_rolleyes.gif

The most major consideration is the price vs performance increase. Some may consider the improvements too minute or unnoticable to justify the RM250+-.

I believe some sellers offer testing sessions on your car, try it out before buying smile.gif

Yeah, this is where I can see plenty of complaint made on current and previous generation Honda City that make my hearbeat drop as I booked the car after 1 month only realise so many complaint raise by them. I'm the 1st buyer of Honda Car and Honda in my opinion should be a perfect car rather than given customer this kind of problem...and from the first time I wrote my own opinion already being bash by someone who treated me as Toyota salesman...really  cry.gif

Please go to any active car club thread, then show me ONE THREAD where owners don't complain about their cars.

Among all the color.
The city looks good in the modern steel and tafetta white.
The rest of the color just doesn't seem appealing to me

My fav is definitely modern steel. Too bad had to wait for stock.

Been driving the car for the past 2 weeks..everything is great..no gap issue..it is just some rattling sound from behind HU..can live with that. Was wondering it is better to off or on econ mode for 100% city driving..my fuel consumption for 1 full tank is around 390 in 100% city driving. Felt like econ mode is dragging the car thus use more fuel when moving. any advice on that?
*
Econ mode is more useful in city driving than highway driving. The heavy throttle feel is due to the throttlebody opening less than normal to reduce air intake and therefore less fuel injected.

It is only useful for people who cannot control their right foot. If you are featherweight right foot anyway (the kind that use their toes to press the pedal even when going uphill laugh.gif ), the econ mode is not needed.

1980's car less service done also have a good tip top condition as current car, whereas current car fixed to service every 6 months. In the end, it will suck our wallet in which a well Marketing Strategies is being play around. No wonder some people opt to use public transport to save in long runĀ  nod.gif Ever since a married man can scolded people with Stupid fcuk with smack a person dumb face...I will see later on how is the fortune will be since Karma will apply to all peopleĀ  smile.gif

Necessary or not, this is the T&C put forth by Honda if you wanna keep you warranty....delay your service and if anything happens to your engine, be prepare to fork out the money to repair. Arguing whether Honda is cheating your money is pointless, unless you are rich and give no fck to warranty (but then if you are rich why don't you just pay and service your car on time?). You want your warranty? Honda needs to make sure you are maintaining your car per their scheduled regime.

It's 10k km or 6 months, whichever comes first, end of story. Ignore at your own peril. If you trust your SA, go ahead, just don't come here crying or complaining to the consumer tribunal when you found your warrant burned.

Also, if you are technically inclined.....Engine oil will oxidize and degrade once it is removed from it's container and put inside your engine. Even if you changed it and never drive it for a year, it is never as good as new.

I hope theres no more problem with the gearbox like the iDSI...
Although Honda says its due to wrong transmission oil being used caused the
problems, I am not convinced thats the whole story....which is probably why the
New city 2014 gearbox also comes with a torque converter + cvt. Apparently,
this is how the gearbox in thr Mitsubishi is designed.
Because of the wrong fluid horror story, makes me paranoid...when change CVt gear oil for my Inspira...I told them make sure use correct fluid and not cvt oil for Saga...
I even check the used empty bottles after they put it in just to make sure its the right oil...sweat.gif...
*
Already happened before Proton SC put wrong fluid in CVT. I expect at least a few cases with Honda since right now only the new City is on CVT, others (old City, CRV, Civic, Accord etc.) are on conventional AT. Sure will have confusion whistling.gif

Suspension warranty MAY void rolleyes.gif

Aiyo, suspension kong, change aftermarket suspension lor brows.gif

But logically thinking, suspension SHOULD NOT kong if u use correct replacement size. Ask tyre shop and/or use online tyre size calculators to work out the correct replacement sizes.
*
Unless your new rims have the EXACT same weight, same offset and same size, and you can prove it. Otherwise even lighter than 0.5 kg they can also VOID brows.gif
