Can anyone elaborate further on the sound which is generated around 40km/h ? I'm considering to buy this car and have already test driven it, but have not noticed that sound or wasn't paying enough attention.

kindly give their contact number. appreciated it..thanks
*
how long have you waited with Imavest ?

@boydnhl - I spent about RM60 bucks to bypass. Now can play video/waze without the need to pull handbrake. Did it at Welldone @ Sg Besi as recommended by one of the City kaki
*
Performing the bypass would it void the warranty? I've been getting mixed answers on this, some shops would say to cut the wire and some says to "short" the wire. rclxub.gif

actually its BOTH.. biggrin.gif

basically what u do, is u : (1) Cut the wire.... then (2) u short / connect the cut wire (player side) to the grounding / any metal part of the car  icon_idea.gif
*
so I take it that even if something bad happens and you re-assemble the wire back to factory defaults it would still be useless right ? wink.gif

I need this. THe sound is too flat for me. I also put treble +5 (dont dare to max it out). lol.

Gotta go install  brows.gif

or anyone adventurous to do this tongue.gif https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3150079

installing a processor amp to utilize the existing setup, can't expect too good results but its as minimal modification as it gets wink.gif

i just went to their shop yesterday. was thinking of installing sound proof for the doors. RM900 for all 4 doors. but will have to leave the car there for 3 hours so in the end didnt install
*
i think dealing with the roof and rear boot would be sufficient enough .. doors could come later wink.gif

Just a question.. Do you guys sign the loan before the car is available ? Any drawbacks doing so ?

Just ordered a bunch of connectors from oversea to do the bypass. If it works I will sell some here.  Connectors is not that expensive but the shipping is killer. Let's hope it works if not I burn few hundred.

i'm having a tough time deciding on tinting options wink.gif

1. Should I go for 3M which is well known for rejection of device signals (GPS/SmartTag)

2. The need for security film ? Since if *touch wood* someone tries to break in, the glass would still shatter anyhow.

3. Vkool/3M/Huper Optik. Which would be a better choice ? unsure.gif
