Those that already collect your V spec, do you know how to get rid of this message forever?
It is very annoying i need to tab "ok" every time i start my car.

the fuel metre does not drop in a liner manner

i.e. for me, I could drive 100km++ before it drops one bar, then it drops rapidly. I'm averaging 12KM/L
*
i normally got 14-16km/l for each drive (econ mode always on), this morning got 20km/l due to less traffic (school holiday).

good to know that your car can save fuel but there's power when you need it. thumbup.gif

Speed meter not accurate wan lah....just do the normal fill tank->reset meter->Jalan->pump full and calculate jalan-ed/liter used.

user posted image

my fuel consumption so far... 3x full tank at ~35liter/~rm75 each so average ~15km/l for me

best that i got for one trip would be ~22km/l for ~50km along jalan ipoh, kuching, tun razak, mex highway at ~100kmh

end of my report icon_rolleyes.gif

Btw, this car SA told me maintenance interval 10k km or 6 months? True or not? I plan to service every 6 months. My 6 months also wont reach 10k...very low mileage.
*
10k km or 6months whichever earlier, if 0km milage also need to service after 6months, if 1 week also need to service if manage to achieve 10k km mileage (if you drive back and forth between KL and India)

Right now i am very headache...i booked S specs...but the steel rims really i don't like...so maybe S+ specs...but paying RM3K for farking rims and a bluetooth radio and a sharkfin antenna is a rip off...then considering maybe add RM5k go for E...but means adding another 8k, which is streatching my budget a bit. sad.gif

btw, top to lowest difference is 15k, not 17k.

QUOTE(D-Frog @ Jun 7 2014, 07:08 PM)
Still contemplating.
Its only the sport rims that annoys me.
The rest is fine.
I can compromise.
So if i change my rim outside. Will my warranty void?
*
i suggest E spec (if you have extra budget), few thousands is small price to pay for your/your family safety.

"ESC is one of the most important safety innovations since the seatbelt. You would never even consider buying a car without a seatbelt – the same principle should apply for ESC." from Guide To Choosing A Safe Car To Buy

VSA is one of most important reason i'm choosing city over vios thumbup.gif

i'm married with children, chose city due to space & safety

never test drive *cough* ugly *cough* almera, but from paultan comparison, city have better space

I'm not Toyota Salesman here but I'm the end user for Toyota cars. What I means is a car need to build for quality and not simply build up a car and at the end have problem occur. I read the previous comment for the users who drive Honda City and realise why there are so many problem here and there in which we pay for a rattling sound car?  sad.gif
*
i go to vios thread, i can see the owner also complaint about sound and poor NVH (similar to this thread). but even if vios is quiet as continental car also i'd still choose city for safety (VSA), it will be different if vios also offer VSC then harder for me to choose, but lower end altis also don't have VSC sad.gif

Nice piece of info...thumbup.gif...have to take note of all this....sweat.gif..and train my wife also...you know woman+cars=trouble.

btw, got question...so this press start thingy, no keys to bypass with a manual lock and key?? Because i think some cars got keys to bypass.
*
you mean if the key battery run out of juice?

- from outside car you need to pull out manual key from the remote to open the door
- then disable the alarm using small button near the VSA off button (you should have the pin number when receive the car)
- then just place the no-battery remote near/touching the push start and you'd able to push the button to start the car

Anyone with spec V install leather seat? I found below and thinking whether should install or not.

Never install aftermarket leather seat covers on Honda vehicles with side airbags. Here’s why:

• The occupant position detection system (OPDS) sensors attached to the seat-back foam are calibrated to sense through the seat cover. If the cover material changes, the OPDS could malfunction or turn on the SRS indicator.

• Side airbags that deploy through the seat bolster seam are sewn with a special thread that bursts and positions the side airbag to protect the occupant. This thread isn’t available to the aftermarket, which means you must replace the seat cover whenever a side airbag deploys or a seat cover is damaged.

Some leather seat manufacturer do mention about side airbag compliance, not sure how true is that.
