a few complaints from a few ppl in FB group that using a non original bodykit.

the buyers claim that their SA supply with an original bodykit. i dont think it was original version. take a look by yourself at the picture below & u will understand what i mean.



look at the below of the rear bodykit, not in a straight line. cheap production.



original ducktail spoiler using PP material. the material colour should be black not clear. only sport racing spoiler using ABS material.



poor paint job, either paint not dry enough, not mixing with some sort of glue/coating or only spray with a thin layer of paint.

actually after having a long discussion with 1 of the main supplier from taiwan, he stated all bodykit come either in fibre, PP or ABS material. no such thing as PU, it just a name that was made by local made bodykit distributer. actually it's still using PP material.

when painting the bodykit with PP material, they use some sort of coating or glue to makesure the paint attach to the material. u cannot just spray a normal paint or the result will be as shown in the picture above (image no 3).

i am not sure about malaysian version but the bodykit i bought from honda thailand packed in a honda access thailand box.

i can promise u none of the offer was for original bodykit. all was local made & currently non of the non original bodykit come from taiwan.

only a sticker, main purpose was to protect from stone chips.

different ppl also will spend money for different purpose.

my previous car, toyota wish was installed with anti roll bar, adjustable absorber with sport spring. even my old honda civic eg also installed with rear disc brake, lsd, new intergra ECU, also change to B16A & B18C engine but this time, i will not install all this stuffs to my new city. this car only will serve me for a city drive. but the main reason was with my age of getting older, i need to play safe. i dont have the same eye like i was in 20 years old. org habaq, biaq umo makin tua, tp jiwa muda. hehe..

this time i already stick in my mind, it's only cosmetic. i rather save my money to buy myself another car to serve that purpose. but again, it's only me.

but my opinion for our new city, the stock absorber + spring was a little bit soft. if i want to be a racer, 1st i will change the suspension system b4 changing other stuff like installing the anti roll bar & the braking system. when i finish all this project, then i will change the stuff for the engine.

i am sure u can get this type of CF sticker at any accessories shop nearby. rm140 damaged for the sticker & installation. it's a new type of glossy CF sticker.

if u want comfort, do not change to bigger size rim.

my wish with 18" rims & my civic with 17" rims. feel like i am driving a lorry, not comfortable at all for an "old timer", only look nice on the road. with larger size rims & low profile tyres, u need to standby extra money for changing the absorber & even the drive shaft. that's why this time i rather stick with 16" rims.

just arrived @ thailand, feel sleepy only 3 hours sleep last night bcoz of world cup.

seriously in my opinion it was very dangerous to drive our city in high speed using the stock absorber & spring. it very comfortable for family city drive but not while speeding & cornering. at least please lowering your ride using sport spring.

no new project. need to save $$$ for aidilfitri.

all these HU using the same software, u can change the boot logo in configurations menu. i bought 1 for my saga flx & the software inside have the logo template for all car brand.

the processor speed a little bit slow, u can feel it when using the remote/menu. sometimes got lagging 2-3 seconds when playback music but function well. the HU also lagging when the software want to change from playing music to bluetooth function. if u bought include the reverse camera, they only installed with cheap version china brand camera. quality 2 or 3 out of 5 star. better bought it separately. but when u using a reverse camera with the unit, there will be 2 layer of image if the HU currently playing music, etc.

i installed with tv antenna too, the quality? 1 out of 5 star. and yes can install a GPS too but i dont install it.

for me the price too expensive. i bought the HU for saga flx only at price rm499 not included reverse camera. tv antenna only rm50-rm80 depend on quality/brand. the seller stated rm1400 for the same HU unit included camera & antenna.

latest project, successfully mirror the image using wireless connection from my hp to V spec HU. BTW, this is my 2nd attempt using a HDMI wifi dongle manufactured by different company. solution, need a dongle that support low resolution (most dongle in our market only support high resolution) & using built-it miracast function in my new hp. damaged, rm100 for a wifi dongle & rm279 for Asus Zenfone4 hp. easy to setup, plug n play. connection stable & smooth without any problem. no need to use HDMI, MHL or Apple Digital AV cable anymore.. :-)
