For the maintenance schedule on the Honda City website, what engine oil does it based on? Semi or Fully Synthetic? The maintenance seems very cheap.

QUOTE(airwind @ Jun 9 2014, 02:30 PM) so if we go with the normal oil change as stated in service maintenance booklet still can last 10k KM? @@ i was told that it is not recommended to do that. A new engine has metal dusts and residues that will be left behind in the engine oil. I dont think u want to use this dirty engine oil for another 10k do you? This post has been edited by WhereTheLightIs: Jun 9 2014, 02:57 PM |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 10 2014, 11:20 AM) Aiyoyoyoyo...u guys didn't read the post(s) above? whats so special about the special oil? Can Honda explain?Honda wants the engine to develop a normal wear pattern. Let me use a layman analogy... Your soldiers are meant to be marching for 10KM before they take a break But u allow them to rest after only 1KM U will make them spoiled brats Something like that |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 11 2014, 10:26 AM) For S/S+/E spec owners, this dramatically improves sound quality and stereo imaging. where!! Got this fixed for RM180, separate crossover/high-pass filter included. Before installing this, I set my EQ at Bass +1, Treble +6 (maxxed). Now, Bass +2, Treble +2. Installing on top of dashboard rather than at the door handle compartment improves stereo imaging effect. |

QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 13 2014, 12:07 AM) QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Jun 13 2014, 01:31 AM) QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 13 2014, 09:32 AM) Common, many members at FB group reported having this. The same sound will also occur occasionally when driving over rough roads or when u take sharp corners (when the car would sway sideways). My tint is only 4mil thick (thinnest of security tint films) so I don't think it's tint causing it. i'm using RaytechCS 4mil security tint. I dont think its the tint because for the first 2 weeks, there's no sound. It started to become noticeable since a few days ago. I've already complained to SC, they said need to "disassemble and reassemble power window". I've got no time that day so deferred it to 10K km service since its no major issue. Yes its annoying. The sound of the power window is as if the window has already closed completely, then the motor continues to force the window up hence the "krrkkkkkkkk" sound. It is uber annoying. And kinda disappointing for a honda car to have such problem. If p1/p2 i can understand lah... |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 13 2014, 10:12 AM) U haven't went for 1K km service, right? Complain during service, and update me (what SC did, how long to rectify it, etc). No not yet. Going tomorrow morning. Gotta complain and blow the problem out of proportion. If it's simple stuff I might even ask outside accessories shop to fix rather than spend half a day at SC. QUOTE(dman @ Jun 13 2014, 09:18 AM) Mostly they cant feel the pulling power after gearchange hence lack of power. The cvt really a smooth operator. S mode is goooding!Havent tested the S gear mode and i duno it was there when i test drove it... Is it more responsive when pull to S gear? |
