I wonder what does it actually do...limit fuel injection to engine no matter how hard you press the pedal?
*
Limits torque and reduce air-con blower speed. That's what I understand from Google-ing it online

Morning guys, any recommended brand for pure white headlamp? 4k? 5k maybe?
since both our low beam and foglamp uses H11, do you think high beam (HB3) need to change? since we rarely use plus OEM is bright enough already.

**edit: pls don't tell me HID lol. i wan roadlegal stuff.
*
Philips 5000K is DiamondVision, blue-ish white, totally no yellow already
4300K is Philips CrystalVision, white with JUST A BIT yellow
Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited is 3900K, yellow with a bit of white

IMHO don't touch the high beam

Using CrystalVision and so far happy with it smile.gif

On a clear night, CrystalVision totally drowns the light from my fog lights biggrin.gif

If u on the FB group, u will know who am I tongue.gif

Hahhaa damn idk who are you woo..  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

how much u bought your CV? u change foglamp also? got recommended seller?

I thought of changing to DV, after u show the picture, i think it's abit towards blue-ish already. and DV more expensive right? then i rather go for CV...

how about your W5W? u change also?  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
W5W? Is it the small bulb? CrystalVision package includes FOC small bulbs too, i.e. inside the package got 2 x H11 + 2 x small bulbs. Got it plus installation for RM180 at The One at Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Installed fog lamps at the same place (but different time), DLAA brand made in China (purportedly OEM type) for RM300 including installation.

See here to get a rough idea of the pricing differences of bulbs:

Can anyone elaborate further on the sound which is generated around 40km/h ? I'm considering to buy this car and have already test driven it, but have not noticed that sound or wasn't paying enough attention.
*
I observed that it occurs only once after u start the engine.

Once u drive up to 40km/h, u will hear a mechanical "trrrrrrrrr" sound. It's not too loud, but noticeable if u turn off the audio unit.

Means 75% fuel could do you a handsome 450KM and you think this is heavy?
*
the fuel metre does not drop in a liner manner

i.e. for me, I could drive 100km++ before it drops one bar, then it drops rapidly. I'm averaging 12KM/L

yes tested the econ mode. drive on a straight road with constant speed, activating n deactivating the econ mode will see the instant fuel economy bar fluctuates drastically
*
nod.gif

That's why I only switch on Econ mode when I'm on highway and already reached cruising speed.

Sometimes also on it when stuck in standstill traffic.

QUOTE(bleu2th @ May 30 2014, 11:39 AM)
i normally got 14-16km/l for each drive (econ mode always on), this morning got 20km/l due to less traffic (school holiday).

good to know that your car can save fuel but there's power when you need it. thumbup.gif

I felt the opposite. I have to press the pedal harder in econ mode. The engine groans and I feel like wasting a lot of fuel...

Anyone done a test with full tank/mileage on various fuel yet?
1) Petronas
2) Shell
3) Petron / Esso - 430-450km (13km/l - 50% city+jam 50% highway)  thumbup.gif
4) BHP
5) Caltex
*
U need to test all brands of fuel with
- same driver
- same driving pattern
- almost same driving routes and traffic condition

Then only u can conclude which fuel is best. comparing with others is meaningless.

On KESAS highway I can get about 15km/l with a medium heavy right foot biggrin.gif
