hmm feeling so far ok... but difficult to adjust your style to press pedal when time to overtake or start from traffic light, now i always wear slipper or sandal instead of shoes so that i can control the pedal accurately.

sometimes feel response lag. Have to ensure lane really clear than can overtake.
*
Who say? Just don't be too gentle with your right foot brows.gif

modern cars are all drive-by-wire
plus, this is no VTEC of 1990s...

i don't feel any response lag with the City seriously...maybe i am use to drive-by-wires on the Inspira and Savvy.
It's just that the CVT don't make sudden pull. Driving my manual Savvy, can feel the pull when changing gear and accelerating hard..engine garang and loud.....but the speedometer go up very slow to 60 km/h....when i drive my Inspira, dun feel anything, but speedometer goes up very fast to 60km/h!! tongue.gif

Then, Siti binti Honda won't disappoint brows.gif

if not gentle press pedal.. it will impact the petrol
*

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 10 2014, 02:21 PM)
I believe those older cars use throttle and not drive by wire, hence, it gives the impression of response lag.
All news cars now are drive by wire...except maybe Perodua...tongue.gif

Waja was the BMW of Asia....according to that Mahaleel guy last time.

I remember my ex-Boss new Waja, got tape at the side door holding it together because something was falling off.
BMW=Bawa Masuk Workshop

tongue.gif
Preve is not a bad car...except the fuel sucking Campro...since you are so concius of FC...Proton cars not for you.
*
I driven Waja CPS for 2-3 weeks, company car

I was like sitting inside a battle-worn tank, everything rattling, everything falling off laugh.gif doh.gif

But handling...superb thumbup.gif

Nobody here change their tyres?? Only 2 more days to go. smile.gif
Actually can get the car today, but don't want to rush. Rather take it on Saturday and check the car carefully.
*
U E spec or S spec?

If E...change tyres AND rims is a must. Stock tyre size is...totally rubbish doh.gif

Recommend to use 195/50/16 (Continental MC5 or Hankook) or 205/50/16 (more brand choices)

Mazda 3 cbu 2010
1.6cc.
Bought the under powered model
Perhaps this is the reason
*
no wonder

C segment cars (Elantra, Altis, Mazda 3, etc), NEVER buy 1.6 tongue.gif

I am e. Lol.
Change will void warranty kan
*
Suspension warranty MAY void rolleyes.gif

Aiyo, suspension kong, change aftermarket suspension lor brows.gif

But logically thinking, suspension SHOULD NOT kong if u use correct replacement size. Ask tyre shop and/or use online tyre size calculators to work out the correct replacement sizes.

Its not about logic..problem is car manufacturer has the right to reject warranty claims if rims are modified, regardless its caused by that or not.
I wont be changing rims for the time being. Just tyres.

Btw, there was a link wirh very good read regarding tyres offset and why it can cause problem to the suspension. Dunno where liao.
*
my point is, it won't cause much problem. if really kong, change aftermarket suspension...why bother with warranty

I've changed mine to Michelin PS3 since day 1. 205/50/16. Love it. Also installed UR front strut and rear anti-roll bar.

Handling is great now. Much improved grip and stability.

U mean their servicing takes a long time? For me very fast d o, one to two hours max compared to roda bb at OKR which took like 6 to 8 hours every freaking time
*
I used to just walk-in at Roda BB and gets all done within 1-2 hours

Best of all I like the honesty of their service rep...they explain all, one by one, what is min required what is optional...

Most stock horn all sissy. Even my Inspira horn I have changed..damn..why you remind me??? More poi$on.....urrghhhh....
I am stuck with little budget..maybe can only do one thing now. Should I change my tyres to Advan Db or CC5 or do some basic soundproofing first?

Pls advise. Tq!
*
bro, I'm gonna repeat the same...

ACTUAL performance 1st, cosmetics/comfort second

Tyres save your life
Soundproofing will only make u die in a more quiet manner. Just kidding laugh.gif

Think about things that actually improve FC/ride/handling/safety 1st before cosmetics/comfort wink.gif
