im thinking of changing the tyre too. which brand is recommended? and trading 99% tire can usually get how much?

I'm thinking of getting Yokohama C-Drive 2 for now with the stock rims on V. Michelin's XM2 is a tad bit noisy to my liking and the performance is ... meh

I've changed mine to Michelin PS3 since day 1. 205/50/16. Love it. Also installed UR front strut and rear anti-roll bar.

Handling is great now. Much improved grip and stability.

that's the tyre i always have in mind .. but the price and also the other concern about it being too heavy on our stock rims.. and not to mention does it look oddly "fatter" than the stock rim ?

You pay the price for quieter, more comfortable ride and excellent grip in the wet. I'll always pay the price for these...comfort and safety.

Too heavy? I didn't notice. Besides, I'm not boy racer on a circuit trying lap times, so no worry about a little weight. Seriously, like a little weight.

Fatter? Just a tiny bit. Think of it as extra rim guard for when I hit the curb!

Wider tyres sure gets more road intrusion. More noise.
Anyone here fitted 195 o 205 on stock v spec rim?

Im using V spec white, hmm anybody notice when eco mood when slow speed or slow rev, its a little jerky? or am i the only one thats facing this

Recall is good. The inspira also have a few minor recalls initially. One of them is the bushing nyek nyek sound. After recalled, fix new bushing. No more problems even after 3 years. I will highlight this matter to the Honda SC and maybe even write in if its annoying enough.

I think all of us here should highlight any issues to them especially the commons one like this.
Econ mode can make car jerking??? Anyone else has similar experience?

seriously dont settle for XM2 if u like to take cornering.. XM2 is for uncle type of driving..

They've moved to Pandan Indah. The peringgit Sri motor Sc at old klang road is also not bad according to my friend

Hi Honda City owner, may I know anyone of here using Bridgestone Ecopia EP200 and any feedback on this tyre as I can see the price is quite expensive compare with Michelin XM2.

+1. I am using PS3 on sold my original v-specs rim. Currently using OZ Racing (6.6kg) vs Ori V-Spec from Enkei (~9kg). Pickup feel the same. The only drawback is that 205 tyre potruded out a little from the arch (front only, ~less than 1cm). Arising from that, dirt will hit the side mirror/body especially when pass through wet road. New city does not come with mudguard unlike the older gen.

Besides, PS3 give you better comfort compare to original GY Excellence. I thought 50 series will give bumpy ride compare to 55 but michelin prove me wrong. According to my dad, PS3 rubber is softer so it provides comfort and excellent grip. Tayar also supposingly botak faster


Stock rim can go up to 195. 6j really limit the choice of tyre. you will need 7jj for 205.

my point is, it won't cause much problem. if really kong, change aftermarket suspension...why bother with warranty

1. Did 2 layers soundproofing on all 4 doors + egg-shaped dome sound absorber on front 2 doors. STP brand.

Not only help to reduce external noise, it does boost your speaker bass. Significant improvement. Shut door also give you "duub" sound.
