QUOTE(thomaz @ Jun 17 2014, 01:12 AM) haha pls recommend me item and place after you fix them.. this could be my next potential project.. QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 17 2014, 09:14 AM) @D-Frog, i use back my existing car plate 3003 (BOOB)..lol Wise choice of rim sir! I've been looking into Enkei's rim.. but too bad not much of choice for our City.. I checked with Howie on the Match sound processor (RM3xxx) but the price on the steep side for me now. He said we can notice the difference right away. Maybe i will just do soundproofing for now which will help to boost the speaker bass abit. This weekend changing my rim, most probably go with Enkei SC33. Current rim don't allow me to use michelin PS3. |

Hi guys.. just want to advise you guys.. always lock your car when you're in the car.. either using autolock or manual lock..
This applies to V spec with keyless remote tho, not sure about E, S/+.. so.. any stranger can actually open your boot without the keyless remote if you did not central lock your car while you're in it when engine started.. So whenever you stop at traffic light, always remember to lock your car.. So.. guys please take note of this and be careful out there... |

![]() Google plans to introduce its own in-car solution that will rival Apple's CarPlay at the company's I/O conference next week, according to a new report. AutoNews claims that rather than a dedicated operating system integrated with car "infotainment" software, Google has developed a solution that "projects" data from Android smartphones onto a car's dashboard screen. Much like CarPlay, motorists will be able to directly control Google's experience — currently known as "Auto Link" within the company — using their car's own dials, buttons, and other controls. The report says that Google will unveil and demonstrate the new in-car offering at I/O, but will shy away from announcing specific cars that will support it. It's said to be the first major project to emerge from the Open Automotive Alliance, a group that was established in January but which has stayed relatively quiet ever since. The Alliance consists of Google, Nvidia, and automakers including GM, Honda, Audi, and Hyundai. It's promised to put Android in automobiles "in a way that is purpose built for cars," and in January said the first such integration would arrive this year. For its part, Apple has already lined up a number of CarPlay partners and has a clear rollout roadmap. But the long road in bringing CarPlay to market also reinforces the challenge of replacing (or at least offering an alternative to) the clunky in-car entertainment systems found in many vehicles. But with Google preparing its own competitor, the battle for your dashboard may soon enter new territory. sos Good news for android user & Honda owner? hmm wait.. isn't the pictar above looks like the V spec HU?? Guys, i need some favour from V spec owner. Need your help to play a mp3(music episode) i usually download to listen.. it seems i can't play the mp3 after many different attempt, (re-convert mp3 to mp3 again with different VBR).
and yes, my USB drive is FAT32. I can listen to other mp3 in the same USB drive but HU does not detect this mp3 only. if anyone can help me, i pm you my google drive link.. Thanks. cheers! edit: there is different ripper sharing the same mp3, could be different VBR and encoder, not sure about it but able to play in HU.. just not this specific ripper.. QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 5 2014, 08:52 AM) Based on my experience, this HU not able to read if the file name is above certain characters (I think its 50~60, oh and folder name cannot be longer than that too). Try renaming the mp3 with shorter name and put on the root of the USB to confirm. WOHOO! it worked, after renaming them.. haha thanks mate.. blame the old android.. |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jul 6 2014, 05:12 PM) Nothing to do with Android...even my HU in my Inspira also like that ...everything got limitations, mainly by the format of the storage (FAT32 etc). Even Windows OS has 255 characters file path limititations until today, it's still the same. haha okok. just being sarcastic to android. |

QUOTE(ExCrIpT @ Jul 8 2014, 02:20 PM) CVT us unlike the traditional 4 AT gearbox where it has to reach a certain RPM before changing gear. +1 well said sir.To have good FC , just press the pedal slightly and the speed will increase gradually and the RPM can stay at 1.2k all the time till 60-70 If u wanna accelerate quickly, just floor it if u want and the speed will increase faster. Do note that u will NEVER feel the pull or the gear shifting like how u feel while driving a 4 AT For CVT when you floor it, the rpm will increase first before the speed catches up that's why ppl say that the car is underpowered when it is not. The characteristics are just different. Gotta youtube CVT and get to know how it works. CVT is no like the standard 4AT/5AT at all. This post has been edited by oHkereD: Jul 8 2014, 03:49 PM |
