IMHO,

you should off BOTH fan and AC before you off the engine, so the next time you start your car, it won't strain your battery.

but for V spec, i think switching off the Air Con will do. i am not sure. need to check again

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jun 30 2014, 01:48 PM)
when u off the air con fan, a/c will auto off lar doh.gif

see, when u off the a/c fan, the a/c indicator light will go off

I choose to follow below opinion...

QUOTE
Dear Tom and Ray:
I wonder if you can answer a question in order to solve an argument I'm having with my husband. Is it better for the car engine if you turn OFF the air conditioner before you start the car, and then turn it ON after the car is started? Thank you.
Mrs. Smith

TOM: Well, Mrs. Smith, our philosophy has always been to turn the air conditioner on in April, and turn it off in October. But the answer to your question is that it doesn't matter. When the starter is engaged (when you turn the key to the start position), all of the major accessories are momentarily turned off anyway. The instant the engine starts, they automatically come back on.

RAY: So you're both right. The air conditioner should be turned off when the car is started, but it's done automatically, so you don't have to do it.

TOM: So technically, it doesn't matter. But we don't limit our answers to the technical realm. We suspect that this argument has roots that go deeper than the car's air conditioning system. So as unlicensed and uninvited marital counselors, we'd like to suggest the following: When Mr. Smith is in the car, do it his way. And when he's not, do whatever you want.

Ok. Thanks...btw, how does the Hill Assist thingy works?

I have also asked around the price for Advan db tyre...one seller quote me Rm288 for 195/55/R15. Ok price or not?

IIRC, when you're in D, S or L gear, pressing brake pedal while stopping at hill, when you lift leg to press accelerate pedal, Hill Assist will hold the brake for 2.5 seconds while you moving your leg..

brother, i think this tip is not relevant. you have to sign the loan agreement before the car arrives at your showroom. i signed mine 1 week before i collect my car. you DO NOT sign the loan agreement on the day you receive your car.

just a friendly reminder. smile.gif

I did sign loan agreement the day i collect the car. maybe depends on SA if they can kautim with bank to reduce buyer's hassle?

From the perspective of potential buyer, most of the points brought up by Jeffreynsx are valid (at least for me). Why so much hatred to him?
*
i think his invalid point is to expect perfect car by Honda. My dream ride is BMW car+Ducati bike, but I know both potentially has more problems compared to Honda car+Kawasaki bike I'm using now..

i personally think the suspension just nice, hard enuf for good handling compared to toyota, but soft enuf for family comfort...

i always admire ppl who modify their ride, spend thousands on car bodykit and performance upgrade, thousands on bike aftermarket exhaust & luggage; but i don't have knowledge nor creativity to do so, all my car & bike are stock even after years of usage :-|

A good father in which take care of his family  rclxms.gif

Honda City stock suspension is good enough as compare with Toyota Vios. I'm current owner of Toyota Vios and all the way down from Genting Highlands to Karak with high speed no issue. The only thing need to equipped is good tyres, performance brake and skills of the driver. It will safe your life at the end of the day.

mind sharing why u choose city over new vios?! :-)

I was attacking the same S turn in the same manner as I did previously with Myvi (with 195/50/15 Michelin PS3 though tongue.gif ). But I think with the CVT and better sound insulation I unknowingly carried too much speed (130-140km/h sweat.gif ) into the second left hander section of the S. Scary man... icon_question.gif

agree! city a bit quiet+better handling compared my previous car so on impulse i took corner with speed more that i should along karak highway sweat.gif

anybody get their service booklet when you collect the car? my SA didn't give it, he said during 1k service will give.

And i just receive Honda Sales Satisfaction Survey. My SA request that he will complete it not me. Reason if i rate him low he could lost his job.

In fact my SA really janji tak ditepati, a lot of free Petrol, free tinted, free gift end up nothing till now. Even drag till 3 months to deliver the car. So should i just complain teruk teruk one dlm survey or let he do it hmm.gif
*
weird, should get it straight away when collect car

don't let him, do it urself and provide honest opinion
