next time if this senario happens, u can press the start button twice without stepping on the brake
this is trigger the on mode, hence allowing u to press ur brake with assist.
then once everything is good only u press the brake and press start
u can always go from acc, on then start engine
acc and on mode can be achieve by pressing the start button without pressing the brake

Hi Matrix, had tried to test drive Toyota Altis 1.8E and I realised this car also have some minor issue. Front Passenger and Driver Side Windows have rattling sound, is annoying. But interior space is wider compare to Honda City but left behind a lot of good features such as Cruise Control, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist and Etc. In terms of their Fabric Seat, it is also not as comfortable as Honda City and Honda Civic.

Hi RedDevils88, my budget only can stretch up to RM120k. If I got extra RM20k ++, I had booked Honda Accord 2.0 VTI-L. Honda City is a good car, but heard from previous owners from Honda City they have encounter issue with Gearbox, Sterling rack faulty and etc which is cost RM2K and above...this issue is worrying me as next year GST imposed will be another additional cost have to come out from our wallet...

I've just tested my colleague's new Vspec - 2day old(in comparison to my 2013 City)

- steering is lighter, feel a bit odd with it.lack of tactile response. Prefer the older gen.
- CVT is smooth, this is definitely a plus. acceleration is gradual and power delivery is there (1st time driving CVT) . that is a BIG improvement over my current 5AT right. no jerks , shocks
- i felt the riding is stiffer than previous gen. (not sure if the tyre pressures are right, but it should be coming in new from sales room)
- the banging door test solid feel - goes to the older gen
- legroom is definitely longer, but i felt the lack of hip support compared to the previous gen.
- back seats are similarly narrow as the previous gen. 3 normally built adults ain't comfortable

As I mention earlier, before collect a new car, have to highlight to them the issue that happen such as dashboard gap and etc in which you all keep on rushing for the car and end up getting a problematic car.

Hi RedDevils88, this is what I plan to do in which when SA called us to sign for loan agreement, make sure go onsite to pinpoint the problem with the car and let them rectify the issue first before collect the car. If possible, test drive for it and ensure no rattling sound before sign the loan agreement.

Hi Team, a good tips for those of you have not collect the car and not rush for the receive of the car. Make sure during the time you want to sign for the loan agreement while the car is arrive on the store, make sure complaint to them the dashboard gap issue, armrest not in centre, right passenger mud flap not secure properly, foldable mirror not in same speed and rattling sound when the windows winding up. It is important to send this message to their top management to do something rather than keep on giving customer a problematic car.

I already booked the car but yet to receive any call from my SA. As you guys have received the car and so many problem for this car, is already make my mind
