QUOTE(tarabas5086 @ Jun 8 2014, 04:29 PM) The bass looks like it doesnt blend in with the surrounding.haha Either the woofer cannot fit into the original compartment, or this owner prefers to have it exposed to make the sound more "open" But...exposed to dangers...rain water...accidentally kick it...car wash ppl rough when wiping it... QUOTE(maxevil @ Jun 10 2014, 09:12 AM) also i realize the ICE for V Spec HU does not comes with any EQ settings for u to set, they only have Bass & Treble ... instead of replacing a totally new HU with EQ, anyone knows is there any component with Plug&Play that can attached to the HU so we can play around or change the EQ depending on the type of songs we play? (if possible change everything via the touch screen HU display would be even more cool ..hehe ) any good suggestion or method to solve the doubts? wow...u think too far ahead of technology Digital, programmable EQ?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 10 2014, 11:16 AM) For my case it was on a Saturday, long q therefore they didn't want to do it... even when I'm paying . Aiyoyoyoyo...u guys didn't read the post(s) above? Honda wants the engine to develop a normal wear pattern. Let me use a layman analogy... Your soldiers are meant to be marching for 10KM before they take a break But u allow them to rest after only 1KM U will make them spoiled brats Something like that

QUOTE(Matrix @ Jun 10 2014, 11:23 AM) Yeah, butbit would be proper for Honda Malaysia to explain to its customers. Also strange that Honda Singapore has different maintenance plan for the same Accord 2013. How to explain? I think better don't compare w Singapore Accord 2013 Malaysia also inspection only for first 1K km Civic also same...Jazz also same...in fact ALL Honda models QUOTE(WhereTheLightIs @ Jun 10 2014, 11:27 AM) whats so special about the special oil? Can Honda explain? Special oil or whatever does not matter IMHO, they want the engine to develop a normal wear me thinks This post has been edited by Pink Spider: Jun 10 2014, 11:27 AM

For S/S+/E spec owners, this dramatically improves sound quality and stereo imaging. Got this fixed for RM180, separate crossover/high-pass filter included. Before installing this, I set my EQ at Bass +1, Treble +6 (maxxed). Now, Bass +2, Treble +2. Installing on top of dashboard rather than at the door handle compartment improves stereo imaging effect. QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 12 2014, 01:52 PM) Don't think i want to do floor. 4 doors help a lot already. If you turn on music loud, noise will bounce inside your door and create resonance. Soundproofing around this area will help with the sound and add extra kick to the bass. This weekend project - Tint. If got enough time want to visit EA for some poison. Sunday maybe go survey new rim. I want to change to PS3 tyre but there isn't any size for our ori rim. I'm using Hankook Optimo 195/50/16, quite good comfort and decent road grip. I think Continental ContiMaxContact MC5 could be quite good value too, also got 195/50/16. Ori V spec size is 185/55/16, 195/50/16 is quite close to ori size, so your odometer/speedo readings won't affected much. This post has been edited by Pink Spider: Jun 12 2014, 02:15 PM

QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 12 2014, 04:33 PM) I kena brainwashed from my dad since i first gotten my car many years back. He said tyre is the only thing that contact with the road so always get good tyre. Couple hundred bucks can't trade your life. Now my brain only got Michelin whenever it comes to tyre cause his favourite is michelin. if, only if PS3 got 195 but too bad don't have. bro, all cars in my home since 1990s all run on Michelins and ONLY Michelins First time tried something else and feel that the difference ain't that big Hankook Optimo actually better than entry-level Michelins (XM2, Primacy) if u see reviews and feedbacks online. Of course, can't compare to Pilot Sport lor If wanna compare to Pilot Sport, have to compare with Hankook Ventus series...which are for performance and sporty handling. QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 12 2014, 04:49 PM) yea i know. We are not racer but i feel "safer" using michelin. Don't ask me why but i dont feel secure attacking corner using other brand. I used to "attack" Genting Highland corners aggressively on Michelin Primacy series tyres fitted on Myvi Yeah, I get more screeching sounds compared to when I use Pilot Preceda/Pilot Sport, but still manageable handling. If Primacy did not get me killed, I believe Hankook Optimo won't too This post has been edited by Pink Spider: Jun 12 2014, 04:51 PM

When u cornering at speed...u will appreciate it QUOTE(ProX @ Jun 12 2014, 09:43 PM) i think the suspension is alright. Check your tyre pressure. If you don't carry people/stuff much then can reduce to 28-29psi. Too low bro

QUOTE(WhereTheLightIs @ Jun 12 2014, 11:49 PM) quite disappointed with honda! My ride is only 2 weeks plus old. Now my power window on driver side has "krkkkk" sound coming out from the power window whenever i'm closing. Anyone else having this probe. Common, many members at FB group reported having this. The same sound will also occur occasionally when driving over rough roads or when u take sharp corners (when the car would sway sideways). My tint is only 4mil thick (thinnest of security tint films) so I don't think it's tint causing it. I've already complained to SC, they said need to "disassemble and reassemble power window". I've got no time that day so deferred it to 10K km service since its no major issue. Yes its annoying. This post has been edited by Pink Spider: Jun 13 2014, 09:42 AM
