OCBC gave me RM50 Annual Bonus for my Service Tax but unfortunately, the Mrs did not get it since she does not use the Card very much.

Anyone else got the Annual Bonus. Glad they did not scrap it.

How much did you spent? I spent about RM 10K but was declined. According to CS, I do stand a chance if my spending is around RM 20K.
*
Spend around RM40k, cos developer allows to use CC for down payment. OCBC is just by standby Card now. Used to be my main card, now transferred to other cards.

Crap, called in to ask for waiver, rejected upfront. Then try to con myself to change to new card (mine was the curve card) and they say need to block my card n issue me new card instead.

Too much hassle as I had few autodebit tied to this card. So guess I live with my curve card for now. Most likely gonna live with it another year till I applied AEON Watami card.

But still thinking whether the card suits me or not with the requirement of spending min RM3K for 3 months.
*
I was also using OCBC Titanium very much last time until the rebate was changed to 1%. I also applies for AEON Watami CC. Just transfer all your monthly auto debit especially your insurance premiums. Other than that, use your CC at AEON BIG, etc and it's very easy to hit RM3K every quarter.

*
I did not call in to ask.

In my latest Statement, just shows GST RM50 and Annual Bonus RM50.

Just wanna ask anyone here using the World Master Card.

Do they waive the hefty Annual Fee of RM388 for second year.

Just thinking whether worthwhile to get this Card, of course, its only worth it if they do waive the Annual Fee compared to Basic Titanium Card of 1% rebate.

Else, have to spend close to RM200K just to gain back the Annual Fee.

I forgot to pay my CC on due date and got charged RM100. After 1 week from due date and reliazed such late payment and made full payment. I asked for waiver of such late fee, not interest and they rejected.

I was thinking to cancel it since it is 1% rebate without point..wonder any other banks do have better offer or use points to offset rebate and the exchange point is greater than 1%?
*
a bit suprised cos normally if u always pay on time and esp in full, if you miss one payment or late, they will waive all the penalty and interest charges

suggest that u either call or fax in your complaint that OCBC does not appreciate your business

It will be case by case basis.

Actually in my case, I did not even apply for it so it really came as a suprise to see the Annual Usage Bonus of RM50.

These days, every RM1 counts for something.

*
in fact, they would prefer that u don't pay on time so they can charge u interest / late penalty

Based on feedback from users, including myself, OCBC auto waived if u spend around RM30K to RM40K per year.

no need call?

Mine and other member was Auto Waived.

But there is no harm in calling and asking for waiver.

Only cost a few sen, free if u use office phone.

Gain is RM50 - every sen counts

when they usually charge gst? valid thru date?
*
GST normally charged on the month before your anniversary date right.

If your Card is issued in Jan 2014, the GST should be charged in Dec 2014 Or it could be it Jan 2015 latest.

coming from a frustrated titanium owner & thinking of closing this account & apply for new CC (have to re-work all the auto bill payment, insurance etc), which is the best card to own?

i already have the mbb2amex for weekend spending.
*
Is it at least RM3K per Quarter - then use AEON Watami, 3% CB subject to min spend of RM3K per Quarter and Capped at RM5K per Quarter
