Am I the first person to report OCBC Ti got compromised ?
16 USD and Euro transactions charged to my OCBC Ti in one go this morning.
A few more attempted transactions were unsuccessful.
OCBC CS told me the transactions were automated ??

Boy...! The CS hotline jammed with call traffics !!!

After a long wait, managed to talk to CS to convert my OCBC Ti to GE Platinum. Subject to final approval of course.
At least GE card still have RM1000 @ 1% rabate per monthly billing cycle.

drool.gif ooh, can call in to request conversion to other cards ka? pls keep us posted!!!

Yes, Can.

If they don't allow and card member cancel the card, they bodoh lor. My OCBC Ti spending is largest among all my cash back cards because of uncapped cash back. If OCBC approve my conversion, al least OCBC still can get RM1K spending from me every bill cycle.

i assume they will send you a new card with new number right? and your titanium will be terminated automatically right?

I guess so. When you call, make sure you use a line that call fixed line for free and use a speaker phone so that your hands are free to do other thing while waiting for CS to attend to you. whistling.gif

i think can change la

0% Auto-IPP (Instalment Payment Plan)
Enjoy 12 months’ Auto-IPP for Great Eastern / Overseas Assurance Corporation for insurance premium of RM2,200 and above via Auto Debit. Just charge it to your OCBC Great Eastern MasterCard and it will be split into instalments automatically. No hassles!
*
With 0% Auto IPP, still can entitle cash back for first RM1k 1% and 0.5% subsequent ?

the titanium card will need to be terminated ownself after receiving the ge card.

Yesterday received call for approval, today received the card already.
Now there a big question. My statement date is 8th and from 8th till today, my existing OCBC Ti already exceeded RM1000 spending.
I guess I will have to wait till 1st May only to activate GE card in order to benefit from the last few days of uncapped 1% spendings ? What do you think ?

you can activate the new ge card first but only cancel titanium card later. both cards can be active at the same time. nod.gif

Huh...!! how come the CS told me once GE card activated, Ti will automatically become invalid. They gave me wrong info ??
This is a conversion and not additional card wor ??

An existing card cannot be terminated just cos you apply for another card unless your salary is below 3k and you are only eligible for 2 cards.

You have to call in and cancel the previous titanium card.
*
QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 16 2015, 04:32 PM)
the ge card is just another new card that share the cl with your titanium card.
*
In that case, I might as well no need to cancel Ti since it is free.
Will keep the Ti for back up online transactions not covered by other cards.

Just would like to update that my Titanium card automatically got cancelled upon activation of my GE card (I asked for "conversion" during my phone call). The remaining balance got transferred over too. Thought of keeping it for a while more, heh.

Same here. OCBC Ti disappeared from internet banking after GE card activated.

Guys, check you May statement. OCBC Ti pays 0.1% cash back for my April's transactions. It should be 1% for April and 0.1% from May onwards. Pls call CS to claim back your 0.9% cash back for April's transactions.

Well, it's a free card, no reason for me to cancel it at the moment. Just converted to GE card and still give me 1% CB up to 1k for transactions not covered by my other CC.
Unless you have max up your 2 card issuers quota for annual income under RM36k and you wish to apply a better CC from a third card issuer, then of course you need to cancel one of your cards.

Current statement is already paid by the way.

RM 64.90+40.55-1.05-2.50+250 = 351.90 (paid and shown in unbilled transaction)
You see the statement amount doesn't tally with the statement, there is a missing RM 250 which is supposed to be auto-debit insurance that never shows anywhere. sweat.gif

I see the statement balance, then only I pay it accordingly.

Next, you see the unbilled transaction, there is no RM 250 but in outstanding balance shows RM 250. I have checked with CS, it was charged on 22nd July.

I asked why is it not showing anywhere, they said if you don't advise merchant, this is how it works...
It will only show in physical statement. sweat.gif
