just found out that RSH owns the Stadium chain of stores as well.

Anybody knows if the flash deal works in Stadium chains as well?

So they increase the requirement... lol... for those that still holding the old Titanium? would get upgrade instantly? or gotta go thru the same process as well. Anyone successful applicant here?

One more thing (kinda out of topic), any good cash rebate card in the market nowadays?
*
what kinda upgrade are we talking about?

nothing additional as far as Im concerned, still same benefits as the rest

Apologize for the wording. I mean, the existing Titanium holder will "auto" have the new Titanium benefits (1% rebates) as the new applicants? or there's difference on this?

Checking Aeon Watami... really regret didn't get this earlier. Spent 4k for past 2 months. I only got rebate like less than RM20 from UOB Onecard.  cry.gif
*
yeap we have the same benefit downgrade as well (1%).

How i wish old users can retain the old benefits

maybe by the time you applied and submitted, the non-titanium was out and the titanium version already revised to 60k pa. lol...

anyway, there is not much difference between both cards except for concierge. if you get pink card even better especially on flash deal.
*
yeap can say that the pink card somehow has more practical benefits.

the 60k pa requirement for the titanium doesn't really make much sense, that said, not many cards in OCBC's lineup makes much sense either loll

maybe the flash deal permanently gone sweat.gif
*
maybe they are reconsidering as the response is overwhelming, causing them to lose money

people are keeping the card around and not using it for any other transactions apart from the flash deals

Strange I didnt seem to get any notice on these deals.

Might not be worth it since its 12x per uyear... and might not be the merchant you want to use it at.

And how about the Annual Fees/GST? Still need to pay?

I'm on the brink of cancellign this week....
*
There's no annual fees applicable anymore.

However GST is very much upheld, unless some elite chaps here get special waivers or so

please do not spread false information without solid proof (ie: official links)

as far as I know there has never been such policy from OCBC to waive GST

so what if I have a GE policy (>2.2k and paid annually) that is currently charged to my Ti. So I'm getting 1% now on say rm22.

If I convert the TI to GE card, means I will get 0.1% per month rebate only since its more than 2.2k and hence is automatically converted to IPP?

so my total rebate I'll be getting is only:

eg:
rm2200 / 12 months = rm183.3
rm183.3 *0.1 = rm0.18 per month?

Are my calculations correct?
Is there an option to not convert it to IPP and still enjoy a rm22 cash back when it is charged annually?

isn't the 1% for first rm1k for the new 365 card only? Can't seem to find details on this on the GE or GE Plat card.

the announcement is on that page...

http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Cards/Cr...uncement_v2.pdf

individual card's page won't get updated until nearing 1 July since effective of the 'new' feature is 1 July 2015 for GE's 1% cb for first 1k.
*
my bad, overlooked the link.

But that's it, OCBC is really hell bent on clearing out their Credit Card customers

I am still using it to pay my Astro, TNB, Syabas, Telekom...

If there is any credit card can pay these bills online and get more than 1% cash back rebate, I will cancel this OCBC Titanium. Any credit card suggestion?  smile.gif
*
I use M2C Amex to pay TNB and Telekom, I'm still looking at a replacement for generic 1% cash back for anything not applicable.

Currently looking at HLB Essential but kinda reluctant due to bad experience with HLB
