Damn, just called OCBC and said even though I would like to cancel my card, I still need to pay for the GST bcz there were some transactions made after the GST was added to my billing statement.

Anyone heard something different?

Thanks for the clarification, guys. The transactions were done a day after the GST was billed, so I was not aware of that. When will the next time the GST will be billed again? Next year Aug/Sept? Need to take notice of that

Yup mine got rm50 credit  annual usage bonus to offset the tax.

Anyone here having the GE card? Is the 1% cashback mechanism similar to OCBC ti? Basically no annual fee, 1% unlimited on everything and not necessary need to have GE insurance plan, correct?

Im in shanghai atm and will back to Malaysia tomorrow.

Two days ago Iong story short, I've been arrested by the so called Mafias/gangsters at Shanghai Downtown and been asked to pay RM15000 if want them to let u go. But I dont have such amount. So they take all my credit card and charged it until each credit card limit.

So the damage was almost RM5000 from my OCBC card and RM4000 from my maybank card. I've been forced to sign the payment slip with a knife shown at me.

So yesterday I went to Malaysia Embassy in Shanghai to seek protection and to ask their advise because the mafias/gangsters have all my details captured i.e. my passport, my ic, my hotel address, my fb and few pics on my phone and been asked not to make a police report. So been told by The Embassy officer that in china their system is different. They will not simply release u a police report unless its major crime involving death etc. Mine consider minor (WTF??)

So now is it possible for me to make a report police in Malaysia in order for me to file the transaction for dispute? Will police report in Malaysia valid for such claim? Anyone have been in this kind of situation before?
