Nope. Just total monthly spending of at least RM100 to earn rebate, which is RM1. HLB won't give you rebate of a few cents. biggrin.gif

no round up like wise? lol...

Yes you still can play the round up game, but you are "qualified" after spending RM100, for example RM99 wont earn you RM1, while RM150 will earn you RM2. brows.gif
*
QUOTE(kelvinlzy @ Apr 8 2015, 11:45 PM)
Really? You tried that? I spent more than RM100 then only play the round up game.
*
lol, now you learn something new? brows.gif

by the way the minimum rm100 doesn't need to be in 1 transaction right? can be a combination of a few transactions right?

After a long wait, managed to talk to CS to convert my OCBC Ti to GE Platinum. Subject to final approval of course.
At least GE card still have RM1000 @ 1% rabate per monthly billing cycle.
*
do they allow to convert from titanium to ge just by a phone call? if yes, i want to do the same too. drool.gif

Yes, Can.

If they don't allow and card member cancel the card, they bodoh lor. My OCBC Ti spending is largest among all my cash back cards because of uncapped cash back. If OCBC approve my conversion, al least OCBC still can get RM1K spending from me every bill cycle.
*
so your conversion already in process? how long will your conversion take? did they inform you?

Yes, CS told me will take x days (forgot liao, maybe 7 days ?). I'm not in the hurry, still got 21 days at 1% with OCBC Ti.
*
i assume they will send you a new card with new number right? and your titanium will be terminated automatically right?

I guess so. When you call, make sure you use a line that call fixed line for free and use a speaker phone so that your hands are free to do other thing while waiting for CS to attend to you.  whistling.gif
*
yeah, you are right. it took me so long to get to speak to a human. lol...

i said i wanted to convert from titanium to ge. cs asked why? i said because the recent announcement reducing the titanium rebate. cs said ge rebate also will be reduced. i answered but at least still 1% for the first 1k. then cs said "really? i need to check to double confirm this!" and there she goes missing for 10 minutes to check and came back telling me "you are right, sir! we will help you to proceed with the conversion but subject to approval". lol, ocbc cs don't even know each of their updated card features.

Just saw GE Plat is only 1% if spend at least RM 1k.
I hardly spend RM 1k on my OCBC Ti, it makes more sense for me to terminate my current Ti and not changing to GE Plat.

Maybe I really need to go for Aeon Watami already... Was quite reluctant due to its design. laugh.gif

Erm. Makes sense, I hardly spend more than RM 3k on my other cards besides  Maybank combo.
If that's the case, I'll make an enquire soon to switch to GE Plat.
laugh.gif Is the conversion easy?
*
the process was easy, just call the cs will do. but final still depends on approval.

remarks: you need to have a ge insurance policy though.
