+1
MBB is only good for 5% during weekend now
last time OCBC ti and MBB2C is the best combo card.i tried so hard to get it.in the end, the benefit keep dropping.
*
laugh.gif Yeah, those were the days where it was so difficult to get OCBC Ti despite meeting their income requirements. Out of 10, maybe only 2 were approved on the first attempt. laugh.gif
I got mine after appealed. Until today I'm still not sure why was it so difficult to get this card last time. laugh.gif

this ocbc GE card is my backup card for place where amex not accepted and need to buy it during weekdays, count count count I actually spend more during weekdays than weekends lol

unlimited 1% CB and no restrictions on mcc is very good in my book tongue.gif
*
1% is only good when the amount is big. Else, like RM 100 for RM 1 is really pathetic. sweat.gif
Since I dine quite often, got a MACH card with Trendsetter package activated for 5%.

Other stuff, I will still try to use AmEx whenever possible. biggrin.gif

Yes, in 2012... I think almost everyone on this thread got theirs rejected and only a handful of us got it approved on the first attempt. Most of us approved only after appealed. laugh.gif

Is OCBC trying to insult us with 0.1%?! mad.gif

OK, once it starts to implement then I will cancel it. I'll need to inform my insurance agent to change my auto billing.

I also hardly spend 1k on this card but it's only applicable for online and overseas transactions. I guess I'm done with it then.

Am just planning to terminate M2Card to GE.
Now, thanks for OCBC, I no need to waste my time for it.
*
Never terminate your M2Cards for any other cards.
Just continue holding to them as no AF, no GST anymore.
M2Cards are superb card.

Indeed Amex 5X TP and 5% weekend CB is still the best. Problem is the card not really widely accepted.
If I hold 2 diff banks' cards e.g. M2Cards + OCBC, my spending unable to consolidate, no bargaining power to ask for waiver this and that. For e.g. UOB PP, to waive AF needs spending of 36k. I am unlikely to reach this amount.

Nowadays, the benefit from bank keep on reduce and caught us in surprise in many areas, eg inflation of point redemption, reduce in CB %. What's next? AF re-instate? Can't imagine.
*
It is pretty OK these days, a lot of merchants have started accepting AmEx. Even if it is not widely accepted, it is still accepted somewhere.
UOB is really a useless card, I have terminated it on my 3rd month of using it.

Been promoting M2Cards to my friends and family members, all of them are so happy with it. biggrin.gif

Managed to redeem vouchers and getting discounts from certain merchants that have promotion for Maybank.

oh 1% on online transactions, mean paying TNB TM etc through their online banking can still get lo?

Unlimited still?
*
RM 1k capped I think.

Then I guess will keep M2Cards for a while. Let see how it goes.  notworthy.gif

Being used that card since 2012 after HSBC screwed up my card payment.
*
Just keep it. smile.gif

QUOTE(propusers @ Apr 8 2015, 02:09 PM)
can I get 5% CB if use M2Cards during weekdays?
*
No, CB is only for weekends and 5xTP is all day long. smile.gif

if it is then maybe i wont cancel my card since i still can get 1%. if not then im gonna cancel it
*
I doubt so. It shouldn't be considered as an online transaction.

You can add the online package, pay RM5 per quarter, 1% rebate, RM100 per quarter IINM.
*
Nah, it's OK. I seldom do online transactions.
Even if I do, I always pay using PayPal or just normal credit card.
I applied MACH mainly for my dining on weekdays or places that don't accept AmEx on weekends. laugh.gif

QUOTE(noien @ Apr 8 2015, 03:43 PM)
got that too but ntg else except dining. and best part is swipe 12 times then free annual fees

Yes, no complaint so far. biggrin.gif

I really can't convince myself to continue keeping this card. I feel insulted of the 0.1%.

Not like OCBC has a lot of promotions, I hardly see their promos in any of the merchants.

No point keeping it anymore, I don't want to be seen as a cheapskate by OCBC, after so many revisions still keeping it. laugh.gif

Not sure if I still continue holding this card? No GST, no AF but feel insulted with 0.1% cash rebate. shakehead.gif

Additionally, my GE insurance is on auto-debit to this OCBC Ti. Should I change it to OCBC GE?

i am same as you... auto debit Great Eastern insurance with this card.. and paying all monthly utilities, telekom, astro bill through OCBC website.

thinking wanna change to other CC or not...

thinking Maybank2Card but it never support all (TNB, TELEKOM, ASTRO, SYABAS)...
*
Er... I don't pay my other bills via OCBC..

I paid my TNB and UniFi using AmEx in Maybank2U. smile.gif
The rest no because I don't have Astro and not using SYABAS. smile.gif Still, you can pay using your Visa or MasterCard that combo with AmEx.

M2Cards is a must in everyone's wallet. biggrin.gif

i think can change la

0% Auto-IPP (Instalment Payment Plan)
Enjoy 12 months’ Auto-IPP for Great Eastern / Overseas Assurance Corporation for insurance premium of RM2,200 and above via Auto Debit. Just charge it to your OCBC Great Eastern MasterCard and it will be split into instalments automatically. No hassles!
*
Good!
Mine is RM 250 per month that auto-debit. That makes up to RM 3k per year.
It is already installment in a way, they don't need to do anything.
Just help me to convert my card and transfer my auto-debit. laugh.gif
