QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Jul 13 2015, 09:20 AM) Oops. My bad for the confusing statement.1% is only for first RM 1k for online and overseas transactions. Subsequently after that is 0.1% I think. http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Cards/Cr...uncement_v2.pdf This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 13 2015, 09:52 AM |

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Jul 19 2015, 01:31 PM) ok thanks, Yes, started on 01.05.15, I thought it was a very hot topic about three months ago?i just looked at my old OCBC statements, my 11.4.15 statement, i saw OCBC still gave me 1% for all transactions. My last statement ,11.5.15 bill RM3294 , i saw Cash rebate RM3.29 -----> 0.1%!!!, and another Cash rebate CR Adj RM23.09 which i didn t know what was it for.... I stopped using it after that statement. So this new change from unlimited everything 1%CB down to 0.1% just started in May 2015?? I was going to cancel it just now, then CS told me online transactions still got UNLIMITED 1%CB, so i keep the card ....no AF , a free card.. I have GE insurance with them so converted it to GE Plat. 1% for first RM 1k and subsequently after that 0.5%, not attractive at all but well just keep it for my monthly insurance. For normal OCBC Ti, online transactions' 1% cash rebate is not unlimited, capped at RM 1k as well. I heard the cash back is quite confusing. I think it's also happening to my own GE Plat as well. QUOTE(guy3288 @ Jul 19 2015, 03:19 PM) Are you sure? Oops, I think I mistaken it for GE Plat. Yes, can't find its TnC. For GE Plat, it did mention RM 1k but nothing about OCBC Ti.That means the CS i spoke to earlier gave me wrong information??? Any body else can confirm which one is correct?? limited or unlimited 1%CB for online transactions?? Where to read the actual T&C? |

For those that shifted their auto GE insurance payment from OCBC Ti to GE Plat, do you guys have the same problem as mine which the auto payment will not be shown on the breakdown but it is lumped in the total amount?
It's so confusing because I don't even know which date the insurance payment is charged to my card, unlike in OCBC Ti which it will show on the breakdown. I just want to know if is it only me that has this issue or everyone is having as well? If only me, I will really need to make a call to OCBC soon. When I requested to convert to GE Plat, I did ask about this payment if I should inform my agent that my card has changed. The CS said it is not needed because it will auto charge to my GE Plat. I don't know how all this works now. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 29 2015, 12:43 AM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ Aug 11 2015, 07:55 AM) OK, this is how it shows. I have an outstanding RM 250 but no amount will be posted in my unbilled, current statement and e-statement. The RM 250 is for my auto billing insurance, previously from OCBC Titanium.![]() Current statement, in reality I have paid RM 250 for my previous month's auto-debit. ![]() Unbilled transaction, I supposed to have RM 250 in it as you can see there is outstanding of RM 250 now. I have checked with CS, the RM 250 was charged on 22nd July. It only reflects my recent payment. ![]() |

QUOTE(cdspins @ Aug 11 2015, 01:41 PM) But in your image, you show current statement, outstanding should be in your previous statement? Current statement is already paid by the way.RM 64.90+40.55-1.05-2.50+250 = 351.90 (paid and shown in unbilled transaction) You see the statement amount doesn't tally with the statement, there is a missing RM 250 which is supposed to be auto-debit insurance that never shows anywhere. I see the statement balance, then only I pay it accordingly. Next, you see the unbilled transaction, there is no RM 250 but in outstanding balance shows RM 250. I have checked with CS, it was charged on 22nd July. I asked why is it not showing anywhere, they said if you don't advise merchant, this is how it works... It will only show in physical statement. |

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Aug 12 2015, 02:54 AM) Yes, I went back last week and my mum passed me my letters. If I can recall it correctly, I did see it in my physical statement. Will pay more attention next time.It will not appear even in e-statement and I thought e-statement is supposedly the same as physical statement. Actually even when I'm on GE Plat, I don't find it any interesting. Still looking for an alternative but I don't spend that much to get Watami cash rebate.

QUOTE(KageBunshi @ Aug 16 2015, 10:56 PM) Im facing the same problem as well.. Yes, annoying and confusing. Now I only know I will need to pay my insurance but no concrete proof that I have paid for it. Is the CS able to solve it for you? this thing is getting annoying Unfortunately, you can only see in physical statement, I will pay attention to mine in the future or you have to inform your merchant to charge it to your new card. I'm planning to inform my insurance agent... Else I can go crazy calculating myself but luckily my spending on OCBC is not much. |

QUOTE(KageBunshi @ Aug 17 2015, 12:19 AM) Thanks for the information. CS can't help much, I asked before.. I thought CS is able to help us. Seem like I need to inform my insurance agent as well. The most they can do is let you know the date of the auto-debit. This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 17 2015, 12:39 AM |

In case rebate 1% , which mean only RM990? 2) min income ? I'm fresh graduate , worry hard to apply it 3) is that they will ask u to purchase insurance , etc ? 4) I currently have medical card with alliance , is that I can use it to pay my regular premium?cash back apply for this? Thanks in advance Aeon Watami is much better... |

QUOTE(cCyyCc @ Sep 7 2015, 09:19 PM) Called OCBC Cus Service recently, and notice there is a option for request credit card annual fee waiver. The option is there all this while. Which card of OCBC that you still have? I rather you choose other better cards than this pretty useless card and wanna waive AF. Has any sifu here tried asking for waiver before thru the above option? Just wondering. Thanks. |
