hi senior, i m confusing between edifier s530d and r2600,any advise for these two speaker?
my usage is music (60%) and hd movie (40%).

Maybe you can try turn the subwoofer to face to the back, or reverse the polarity of the subwoofer sometimes can solve some bass continuity problem.

Yes, look for bulging capacitors. But do note that sometimes bad capacitors may show no signs externally and may have to remove the capacitor from the board to measure it. As for those high quality capacitors. try buying from online electronics stores such as RS Components, element14/Farnell/Newark, Mouser and Digikey. Many of those capacitors found selling in Pasar Road are mostly counterfeits (remarked low quality el-cheapo capacitors)...

I m a Edifier S530D user, this speaker is almost 7 years old, been using all the while for music since bought, but had been sitting idle since yr 2013 until now as the audiotrak soundcard that pair with it has spoilt...ever since then i use the S550 as my main speaker for music, movie and gaming (S550 is good in music n gaming, but when come to music it still lose to the S530D)...

Today quite free so decided to turn on my age S530D to listen to some music (connect it to my Creative Sound Blaster Z sound card, since i cant find anymore audiotrak soundcard in the market now)...and to my surprise, the S530D still rocking n sounds so nice...i m so impress with the quality of the Edifier speaker...hope it can last for another few years before i change to another set of speaker...

Even Bentley also used Edifier Car Speaker

gotta agree S530D bass kicks manlier than the Studio 7 or 8

but the Studio 8 gives a wider range of bass though

Bought R2730DB alraedy  Good enough for my house living area, I got no space for R2800.
