Hi everyone, I'm currently using 5.1 soundbar but not really happy with the performance... Hence I wondering if it is possible to hook up a S760D to my TV & bluray player as a 5.1 home theater set, but I'm abit confused on the connection part.

For example, if I connect the Edifier speaker to my bluray player via RCA cable, it should works fine for the sound output from bluray player, but what if I watching youtube with my smartTV while my bluray player is turned off? I guess there won't be any sound from the speaker right? Then I need to connect another optical audio cable from TV to edifier speaker?
