My edifier M2300 produces light buzzing sound, even with audio signal disconnected from my pc. my old creative speaker doesn;t have that problem...so it's not my pc or my household power source (which i've also tested at other house)

what needs to be changed? price?

thanks for the tips...so I should look for blown caps in the amp module?

what is the price for those caps? can find easily in jalan pasar? jalan pasar sell cheap but high quality cap?

Bought the CineSound B1 soundbar @ RM320 with Asus Xonar DG soundcard @ RM115. I'm impressed with the quality of the soundbar (jump ship from M2300). The bass really surprises me.

Will Edifier make a dedicated subwoofer in the future for the soundbar series?

I think the B7 sub is linked via bluetooth, and only worked in B7 as a system. Not via 3.5mm line.

What's the difference between the B3 and B7 besides the subwoofer?
Can you sell just the subwoofer alone?
Will a crossover (bass management) be set when the subwoofer is used? Else it's kinda useless to send <100Hz to the soundbar and let it distort when the subwoofer can do a better job.

i have my edifier B1 soundbar plugged to my samsung tv (3.5mm audio). i have the astro/njoi stb linked to my tv via hdmi. volume control is achieved via the astro/njoi learning remote, which is actually beaming to my tv.

if i want the astro/njoi to change the volume by directly controlling the edifier soundbar, i need to find the matching tv code for it. any idea what's the compatible remote code for edifier soundbar?

3.5mm is normally used for stereo only. 7.1 = 8 channels = 4 pairs of 3.5mm jack connections.

where do you place your subwoofer?
difference place gives different dips and bumps of frequency.
best is invest in an SPL meter or measurement mic to check your room interaction with the sound.
