The R1700BT is a great buy that combines a timeless design with a soothing sound. The addition of Bluetooth makes them very versatile and a lot more convenient when placed on a shelf.

Sometimes I miss the old days where Edifier don't use proprietary cables for their 2.0 speakers.
I was browsing some 2.0 thinking of using them as ceiling speakers but mostly just uses a 4pin or 5pin connector while the old Edifiers used to just use a pair of cable to connect them together. Will Edifier go back to passive crossover designed bookshelves? or better, will Edifier produce passive bookshelf speakers for the minor audio enthusiasts to pair their own amp? |

We highly recommend the Edifier MP100 as we loved it during our review period of using it on a daily basis. It has a loud output, great build quality and surprisingly long battery life. If you are seriously looking to get a reliable Bluetooth speaker, this will be the wise choice and something to consider.

The R1700BT's are yet another high quality offering from Edifier. Bringing a more dynamic look to the multimedia speaker market, they also perform extremely well in most of the tasks you'll expect them to. We have no problem recommending them and for the money, they're a great purchase.

While the S1000DB is certainly improved over the R2000DB in almost every way, I do think that this is the least improved model in the entire lineup. That being said, the S1000DB still addresses almost all of my key concerns with the R2000DB, the midrange, the remote and the gloss finish, while compounding on its strengths.

Would I buy these? In a word yes. With many options out there it's always a tough pick so do your research try before you buy and see what you like but if you do end up with these as a decision I can't see many people suffering from buyer remorse. These are an incredibly well rounded pair of speakers and with the diverse range of functionality, practicality, sound quality and aesthetics you are in for a solid purchase.

The G3 worked wonderful at anything I threw at it from the different types of songs that I played, sure some songs the bass performance wasn’t that clear, while others it was. With piano’s sounding clear and not messy. With snare’s sounding very detailed but not too much. Games worked wonderful in the game mode, the DSP did a very good job.
The addition of the microphone and itself did a very good job. I didn’t except the G3 to do this well. http://www.head-fi.org/products/edifier-g3...r-enhanced-bass Attached thumbnail(s) |

It’s quite a sum of money to pay but for me, it’s totally worth it the price. After considering all the features and build quality, the Edifier W855BT is totally deserving of our Gold Pokdeward.

QUOTE(power911 @ Mar 14 2017, 08:17 PM) The sq definitely will better than S530D, it will sound more warm compare to S530D.With active crossovers and independent amplifiers technology, S350DB satellites speakers will bring you better music-listening experience. Beside that, all the drivers tested by Klippel measurement technology for precise sound, delivering strong mids, highs and rich bass. |
