you mean for covering port?

I'm not too confident about it. It looks very packed though. Scared your port will choke and bass volume drop.

Usually if you wanna cover it must be a material that air can pass easily. cool2.gif

yo m8 if you use mouth to blow your hand with or without filter and it has 0 difference in wind power then that's the ultimate material you need for max performance.

Just bought a R1280db, randomly getting no sounds from it - not muted, just no sound from the input (LINE 1/2, bluetooth and OPTICAL) until I turn it off and on again or suspend and awake it.

Not sure how to fix it - should I return it?

Sorry for the problem caused.
Did you change the input mode when you change the input?

Yup, I change it to OPTICAL (RED LED) now by pressing the volume button at the side of the speaker to select it, the sound would randomly go missing during playback. When it goes missing, ive tried to

- Increase and decrease the volume
- Mute and unmute
- Switch input back and forth from LINE 1 / LINE 2 back to OPTICAL (RED LED)

but still no sound from the speaker, but when I turn it off and on again OR put it in suspend mode and back only would the sound be back.

If it's not supposed to behave that way, I might have to return it?

Thanks a lot.

Please try it with another input device, the buzz sound might caused by the input device.

Hi there.

I owned a M3300 for at least 6 years but the subwoofer suddenly died. I don't use it often, probably once a week. The satellite speakers still work fine and the wired remote control works fine too. I tested it on my laptop sound card and also 2 external sound cards, using typical music and bass-enhanced music. Same problem. No physical settings on the set have been changed (including the bass volume knob). Any suggestion to troubleshoot or to confirm that the subwoofer already reached its time?

Btw, I left the set on for 48 hours but it was on mute (via the wired remote control).
