UPS or FedEx and it takes 6-8 days to deliver
*
Q: How long before I receive my Xiaomi order?

A: Xiaomi makes every effort to deliver your order within 6-8 working days once the package is shipped from our warehouse. Xiaomi is not liable for any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that dela delivery, such as: flight delays, adverse weather conditions, or high shipping volume. In these situations we will try our best to notify you of the delay and inform yo the estimated delivery date.

QUOTE(Fasap @ May 20 2014, 04:26 PM)
i think buying the AP set at rm949 with 2 years warranty is also a good deal what? summore got white color.

Supposedly these AP sets are from SG.. are there any diff in the phones? are they tailor fit for each country of sale or what?
*
If it's white color, it's imported from China. Currently SG only have metallic gray, same as Malaysia. I believe they will import directly from China.

There's no difference, unless you bought a TDCMA variant from China then it's different.

flip cover is use adhesive one..
*
Good quality adhesive from 3M, I'm using it now, it stick well and strong.

QUOTE(figure8 @ May 20 2014, 04:49 PM)
i think so.low quality easy to scratch and even not stick beautifully especially around the edge.
*
The original 1 easy to apply, just that fingerprint everywhere for clear SP.

guys, heard the phone uses the normal sized sim, is this true? hmmm... need to buy sim adapter then..
*
Yes, using normal sized sim (it's called mini sim). Don't have to buy sim adapter, they'll provide you extra micro-sim adapter.

fyi, the sim tray most probably will stuck during ejecting. just make sure to be careful
*
True. Here's a tips to future owners of Mi3, don't ever put blank sim adapter and cry at mama cannot eject later or the sim reader pin got broken.

You're lucky if it's just the sim tray broken, I saw some the sim reader pin straight broken and have to re-solder again.

If not mistaken most of them said around 4 hrs...
*
Yes, around 4-5 hours on screen time.

QUOTE(figure8 @ May 20 2014, 08:06 PM)
yup.thank god. the right procedure is to eject using pin, the tray will be ejected slighly. even if we push the pin again inside, no use. so we need to use our gifted fingernail to pick the tray out. it kinda frustrated..
*
Yeah, quite frustrating actually, the first time I tried to eject the sim tray, push the pin here and there also cannot pop up, then try few angle, it pop up. Then after inserting with sim card on, no matter how also it won't pop up, just eject slightly. sweat.gif

mi3s, please use igzo display, now we talking

They're trying to maintain the price point the same. They can't include expensive hardware on the phone. Know Xiaomi's trend then you talk.

QUOTE(ryuken74 @ May 20 2014, 09:11 PM)
if beta tester download the rom and the phone brick, can claim warranty?
*
Don't think so. Play rom at your risk, although I can say the risk is low. Flashing rom on MI3 is easy as cake.

Mi3 have 2 system, primary and secondary. If the primary fails, you can switch to secondary system to recover the primary system. If you're advance user, can make use of the 2 system.

I like few of their added features, especially the VOOC rapid charging which I found would be very useful.
