no lar... but i mean if you want to go to that extreme to beat it... then it's a no holds barred contest...

the main point of the veyron is that it's fast yet at the same time it's a luxurious hypercar...

But isnt nissan GTR performance almost  as good as this ? or am i wrong ?

GTR accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds whereas the Veyron does that in 2.5 seconds.

people have money... what can you do... if you sourpuss about people with money... people will sourpuss about you when you get rich too...

i doubt anyone wants to drive a proton when they are a billionaire... unless it is a decoy car when they suspect they are about to be abducted or something like that...

it's just a question of living standards and taste...

That's the biggest misconception. The richer the individual goes, the more Protons they own. Getting rich is easy but staying rich is hard. Even the SME KL chairman also driving old Accord only.

Yeah nissan GTR more easier to get than the Bugatti Veyron

Although just few 0.3 seconds slower or maybe the luxury interior lose but you also dont want to go petrol station all the time

Plus there are so many nissan GTR models , some get R35 GT-R Nismo GT3 or GT1 ??

2011 Guinness world records – Fastest 0–60 mph acceleration by a four seater production car

Maybe there are newer models because last i update myself on this car was quite long ago.

Plus the powertrain and engine aftermarket tuning more easier

Unless you are talking to buy the aventator or FF or 250 GTO or porsche GT3RS ?

The Veyron is such a legendary car because it was designed pretty much by a maniac.
Unlike the GTR which is shaped according to the wind, the Veyron's shape could not change much (if at all) from what the chief wants it to be. Technically the shape is totally wrong for a 400+km/h car, but it "needs" to be that way for it to look right. It also needs to have all the luxuries that he wanted, and no matter how heavy the car gets it has to have EXCELLENT braking capability and handle better than anyone would expect. It needs to be planted even at 400 km/h that the driver is confident enough to look at their speedometre. Most other cars when reaching their top speed ti feel like they're breaking apart, but not so with the Veyron. You'd probably still be brave enough to let go of one hand from the wheel and turn on the CD player.

The GTR wasn't made with such strict orders. It doesn't have a diamond studded speedometer, you can't choose what stitching you want for the leather seats, you don't have millions of colour combinations, it doesn't have a 1000hp engine that meets the then current emissions regulations and noise.

Imo the Veyron sounds like a truck. Seen them in London quite a few times.

Not as much as a truck as the Enzo starting up. laugh.gif
But the point is, relative to the GTR the Veyron is superior because that it is able to do what it' doing at all, despite common engineering sense saying that it shouldn't be able to. It's far too heavy to be able to corner and brake the way it does, it's not aerodynamically ideal enough to do 400+ with that much stability, and it broke the stereotype that a record breaker doesn't have to compromise luxury.

In terms of service, you can get it serviced in Singapore. And it is a rather simple car with less electronics than a new Ferrari.

How I know>? I spoke to Mokhzani himself when I sold him a pool table. And yes, he is humble. I like.
