Here's a fix I've come across, and it only works for Nvidia GPU's.

1. Open up the "Nvidia Control Panel" located in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (where your clock, internet connectivity, etc is located)

2. Browse to the "3D Settings" tab on the left hand side and make sure you're in the "Global Settings" and not the individual programs (right side of menu)

3. Scroll down to the "Maximum Pre-rendered frames" tab and change it from "Let program decide" to "1". Save your changes and exit out.

4. Boot up Battlefield 4 and have a good time!

this one actually reduces lag input considerably

it's how console plays 30fps but still 'feels' smooth

sometimes this config can limit fps on pc down to 30 or 60 locked

i use this trick anytime i needed to use vsync to eliminate screen tearing on games BUT does not want the added input / mouse lag

else, just disable vsync when you play quick first person shooter games, never use it on games like csgo or bf

anyway it's been a year now since this thread was created, bf4 is running significantly better with new netcode updates nowadays
