Hey guys, I'm using the mentioned laptop too and installed the Diablo 3. When I try to start up the game, it will come to a blank(black) screen with only the mouse pointer and background music only. Anyway to solve this problem? or anyone face this problem before?

QUOTE(VinluV @ May 19 2014, 04:31 PM) black screen? no sound? any menu pop up when you press escape? Check your display cards driver. I tried it in shop before, works like a charm on medium settings. Hi VinLuV, this is what i get when i click "play", https://www.dropbox.com/s/hpjhx0s4je9d5xj/2...9_164516.jpg?m=blank screen with mouse pointer and background music. (running Diablo 3 original, not expansion yet). I've downloaded the NVIDIA experience and windows 8.1 has been updated to the latest. Many thanks for the supports. ++ after pressing ESC, it just jump out from the blank screen back to windows, no pop-up windows. This post has been edited by Enferno: May 19 2014, 04:49 PM

QUOTE(VinluV @ May 19 2014, 05:19 PM) no idea what nvidia experience is but go here and check your nvidia whql driver, and update it. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResul...spx/73218/en-usThen open your documents\diabloIII\d3pref.txt and change the DisplayModeWindowMode "0" to DisplayModeWindowMode "1" to force window mode. reboot and try again your method works wonder.. it did run smoothly but in windows mode, not full screen. noob question again, how to full screen it..
