download of dota 2 keeps restarting, dota 2 cannot continue to download

yesterday night i downloaded dota 2 till 3.5/5.3GB, but today when i want to resume the download it restarted again from 0%.i have tried downloading many times before but all restarted again. any solution?

but the space used by dota 2 in my local disk is already 8.9GB

I think the percentage is to show total files remaining left to download
not the whole download itself |
