I just bought a sound bar Philips HTL2163B

1) How the night mode suppose to be? It will switch off bass and subwoofer in order to reduce noise?

2) Did RCA audio works for Night mode? or only digital audio?

3) My TV only have headphone jack and RCA audio out. So will it be possible to convert it to digital audio and pass to sound bar?

4) Setup an hdmi audio cabling/switch or optical audio cabling/switch (from PC/PS3 to sound bar) which is better and cheaper? my cabling will go for total 5 meter

good, congratulation on sound bar purchase thumbup.gif
1. night mode activate dynamic range compression.
it tekan the loud part down, and pull the silent part up. so that u maintain the average volume

2. all can work, if not mistaken la

3. no point doing this, and not easily find in market.

4. hdmi is better if u have multichannel lossless audio content like bluray movie. otherwise optical is good for normal dolby /DTS surround and 2 channel lossless audio

So night mode ON the subwoofer will continue run I suppose?
Because when I turn night mode ON and OFF don't feel the difference of the sound

Ok thanks, because previously I feel the subwoofer sound is too loud
Now I replace it from corner of the room to center back wall, I think it works better for me now
Putting in corner wall created strange bass or noise
