Alright guys, thinking of finalizing the build with the recommendations from here :
Proc - i5-4460
Mobo - Asrock H97M Pro 4
HDD - 2 TB WD Black
PSU - Seasonic S12II 620
Casing - Bitfenix Prodigy M
RAM - 16GB Value RAM (8 x 2)
GPU - Pending
Can anyone confirm if the i5 4460 + above mobo can work without a GC (ie: has integrated graphics) ? Want to wait until the nVidia switches to Maxwell (800 series) then decide if I'd get a reduced price 780 or new 880.
Also I see plenty of love for the i5 but not i7 ... any reasons for this ?
I7 is significantly pricier than I5.Proc - i5-4460

Except you are building a workstation and with enough budget, we don't normally recommend them.
But if you don't mind a little top up, Xeon seems to be a sweet spot between i5 and i7 at RM7xx.
