Anyone up for WoW TCG? It does looks cool though... Just like in the game, you have your hero, with equipment and abilities battling other heroes, just like PvP.

Yeah, the art work definately looks good so far from what I saw in the website. The concept looks simple enough to understand too.
But I'm sure some people would rather just play WoW rather than playing the card game though... |

The game is finally here. We will be having a Celebration Release Party this coming Saturday, Nov 4th.

Member is very simple, pay rM10 and you be a member of Toybox for the whole year. You get 5% off products sold at Toybox.
So even if you include the member fee + the member price for a booster box, you are still saving money. |

One player will control Onyxia and its monsters of course.
Other players with WoW TCG solo decks can then group together to try and beat him. The Raid deck is selling for RM115. |

does Solodin work? Haha so far I think paladins are one of the most irritating class in the game...
Warlock is looking pretty good and the shadow priest deck has some nice combos to it.. |

Onyxia Raid Deck is available at around 4pm at Toybox. Retail is RM115 and Toybox members get 5% off.

Hey WoW players, Toybox will be organising Hobby Leagues starting from next week. Details are as below:
Date: Every Friday (Beginning 15th December) Time: 2.30pm and 8pm Fee: RM5 Prize: Winner gets 1 pack, EAs will be given out as well (and whatever support item we get from UDE) We will also be implementing a league format where a win will score you 3 points and attendance will score you 1 point for each hobby league you attend. This will be tracked over a month and the person with the highest points at the end of the month will receive additional prizes. We will also conduct lucky draws during the month. This is what you could possibly win:    We will be having: 1. Constructed deck 2. Onyxia Raid 3. Lazy Peon 4. Draft/Sealed (or another Constructed) |

Some changes to this week's hobby league. To coordinate with the worldwide launch, we will be having our first hobby league this Saturday instead. Date: December 16th, Saturday Time: 2.30pm Venue: Toybox Fee: RM5 Winner gets one pack and EA. Other participants will also get the special EA of the day. Hmm rogues really play like Magic's Black Tap and Destroy strats.
Not really effective in certain situations...:-( Was expecting a mage for my starter :-p And all 3 of my oversized Hero oso not rogue |

Just never really cut it since i was always going pure feral. but when i get 4x Innervates ... Feral Rage just doesn't cut it. Works against Hunter rush , but you'd be dead even with so many options in your hand. Innervate is 1 turn faster and sooo much better. Feral druid deck ... doesn't require much Balance or Resto . Just got news today that boosters will be in by this week, actually tomorrow. But safer to say this week la, never know man..
So, all those who need boosters can drop by Toybox soon enough. Btw, RM15 is kinda expensive. They sure know how to take advantage of the stock shortage. |

I just read the whole thread again.... I didn't see a post where you have listed down what you have and what you want. I was more like expecting a compiled list of every card you have up for trade and a list of the cards you are looking for. Then from there everyone can view and trade accordingly.

No worries just a miscommunication. Let's have everyone post up their entire list so that we can have a clear understanding of each others' cards. Once you done the first initial step, the rest of it is just updating your list...makes life much easier rather than ask each other thru PM on what you have what you want and stuff like that hehe.

Hey guys, i saw that the new expansion is coming out in april, and may arrive in malaysia at least by may or june. I have read the rulebook and was wondering, should i wait for the expansion or buy the starter and upgrade it.

Waiting for the expansion is not a good idea mainly because you will probably need cards from this set as well.
When the second expansion is out and you get it then, you will find that you need to play catch-up. |

This game is a con job.
At first I started bought the game. Enjoy the simple mechanics and gameplay, a bit tulan since rogues are quite weak in base set. My character in WoW last time. Then the Onyxia Raid expansion came out. Super Con Job. Technically, it cost RM10 per card. Randomized somemore. Screw it. UDE is milking the cow with this game. |

think of it as buying 6 boosters .
why not use the rares as prizes? every participant gets at least 3 rares. winners will get to choose from the rare pool first. there will be side quests such as ... highest damage dealt during a turn - choose an ally. fellowship prize ... so on. |

If it was draft, then the first pick is fine. But with Sealed, the guarantee that u keep your power rare is the reason why u pay so much for it anyways

Well mafeya, you could drop by toybox to get a deck. Well the starter is the deck you need for beginners. Also you should get the rulebook. Well since you are an ex magic player it would be fun playing WOW TCG. The gameplay is almost the same except for a few tweaks. Its a fun game according to my experience...but you must see what lucky deck you would get.

hey guys, wanna clarify some rules eh.
1. Do allies come in with summoning sickness @ cant attack the turn it was casts? 2. How does the battle/attack phase go? Do I choose 1 of my unit to attack 1 of my opponents units? Meaning, Do I choose the attacker as well as the defender? 3. If my ally attacked this turn (activated), when he is attacked the next turn, does he deal damage as well? 4. Can protectors attack as well as defend? 5. If I use a hero's power that causes him to be flipped, does it mean I cant use the power anymore? Or do I ready him the next turn? Thanks guys. Wassup guys .. im back to the office after a long 5 rounds of WOW at the Regionals. I manage to get 4th place and qualified for the Nationals later this year, not to mention .. i got 12 boosters packs to top it off. Mafeya and SanosukeSagara, thanks for the support. Appreciate it. Me and a friend go to comics corner ss15 often enough. On thursdays, fridays, saturdays and sundays sometimes. lol.
A booster box cost about RM300+ and should be more than enough to build a deck. The thing is some cards that are essential to your deck, which of you might need 4, will not be enough. What I am saying is, lets say you buy a box, and you open your packs, then you find this really good card that you wanna use, but you only have one or two instead of the four. So you find other players who bought boxes and trade with them. |

whats a hobby league?? and i have some enquiries.
1. Hero's skill can be used once per game? 2. if i have an armour tat has 3 def and i am being atked by a 2/2 and 1/1 opponent allies and i exhausted the armour, i block all the damages since it is 3 damage or blocked 1 atk only. (ie, 1 armour can only block 1 atk) 3. to exhaust an ally, it has to be under ur control at the start or ur turn. so if i played a warden tonarin (1/1 allies with protector and elusive) at my turn, and at the opponent turn, he atks. can tonarin protects because to protect, u need to exhaust the protector ally. another eg is tristan rapid strike (instant ally with protecter) when opponent atks, i cast him out. can i use it to protect? 4. heroes has no damage. if i gave a hero an ability to atk, eg cast a blessing of might (ongoing: target ally or hero has 1 atk while atking). can my hero atk without any weapons? (ie, exhaust my hero and deal 1 damage to the defender) thx for all the help. |

And, how do you guys (TB) pick the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placers? For the player who has the most wins will get 1st place. For example, u and me play 4 rounds. I win all 4 games and lose 0 and u win 3 rounds, lose 1. Means, ill be 1st place and u will be 2nd place. |

ur Warlock deck really dangerous. i almost got all cards except for 1x Missing Diplomat. i replaced 2x In Dreams for 2x Dark Pact. here is what happens: i played 2 rounds in the afternoon with my bro (warlock with corruptions and curse of agonies) using my Shaman deck...cannot fight at all...its becos my hand not that nice also i think then at night i decided to try the warlock deck u built....total ownage man...Merdoc really badass well i still haven't try the combo Dark Pact+Infernal |

@mafeya we use the software that is given to use by UDE, so we follow their point system.
