Today i got email from PayPal saying that someone entered my account:

I logged on and found that it asks for credit card verification as i dont have one. Immediately i exited and entered by typing www.paypal.com and the logon screen seems different ones.

I changed my password as my first logon via http://1382xxxxx:2121/ was recorded!

There have been many circularisation pertaining to fradulent emails and advises were given not to login by clicking any links contained in the email but many of us still clicking and assessing it.

TIPS: Make sure u observe in detail the url of the link before logging on. Example : original is www.paypal.com and dont logon to www.secure.paypal.com because there's no such thing.

Also dont click and logon on port forwardings Example: http://238.11.23.22:2121 ... smile.gif

the moral of story is never click the link from email / forwared email. Especially the email ask you to key in ur password. they can send spoof email. If you want to login, just type at new tab/windows again. do not ever click the link from email

Well , the key is that never login through links from email (some are asking you to update your account) and phone calls ( asking for private info etc). Not only for paypal , but for online banking , e-gold everything etc.
