Today i got email from PayPal saying that someone entered my account: I logged on and found that it asks for credit card verification as i dont have one. Immediately i exited and entered by typing www.paypal.com and the logon screen seems different ones. I changed my password as my first logon via http://1382xxxxx:2121/ was recorded! A screenshot of FAKE login of PayPal: A screenshot of ORIGINAL login of PayPal: Beware LYN's !

TIPS: Make sure u observe in detail the url of the link before logging on. Example : original is www.paypal.com and dont logon to www.secure.paypal.com because there's no such thing. Also dont click and logon on port forwardings Example: http://238.11.23.22:2121 ...

Getting Started

the moral of story is never click the link from email / forwared email. Especially the email ask you to key in ur password. they can send spoof email. If you want to login, just type at new tab/windows again. do not ever click the link from email

Well , the key is that never login through links from email (some are asking you to update your account) and phone calls ( asking for private info etc). Not only for paypal , but for online banking , e-gold everything etc.
