is fibre termination box must be drill few hole and fix into our landed premise? I saw some of the box is at the TM Pole? are they the same?

is fibre wall socket is a must? can i tell the contractor to just plug directly to the BTU? (because if the FTB is installed just outside my house wall, then to reach the place I will put the BTU is just 2-3m) why they need another FWS? sad.gif

Thanks.

anyone have idea? can direct plug from FTB to BTU? Because i just do the preparation where to put my BTU, it just side from the FTB, not even 0.3m sweat.gif if FTB => FWS => BTU, then i need additional place to take care the FWS

I really need help here. So, the last time I checked (which was few days ago), my bill was RM 99.50. Today I checked again my total is RM 248.50. Can someone please explain to me how does the billing actually work? sad.gif I'm actually a new user and I started using on the 28th of June.

yaya, i am ok with little white tiny box, that one is FTB, but now looks like they add in one more call Fibre Wall Socket, another little tiny box inside...

Pole => FTB => FWS =>BTU

my concern is Pole => FTB => BTU, skip FWS because FTB and FWS will be only side by side lol... less than 0.3m

Are you using Hypptv?
During the high pings how many computer connected to the router and is the hypptv on or off?
Is your BTU is in a place where air flow is good or bad to cool it?

Since you not using hypptv then why don't you change your dir615 router to ddwrt firmware, makes the dir615 very stable and you can monitor your internet something like this:

It does, only downside is you lose hypptv vlan600 tag but if you want to use it in the future since you have hg655m BTU it can set for hypptv to be connect to it directly to instead of going thru the router.

You know how to flash the router right?

LOL I am finding TM services funny.

Now, I dunno who is the customer, and who is the service provider.

I am staying in a new neighborhood, and has been requesting for Internet line from TM. Many of my neighbors are doing the same, to show TM that we have the numbers, and justifiable for them to extend the services to us.

But NO. Upon numerous applications, we were refused serrvices, and excuses were given. Absurd.

What ever happens to 'Customer is King', and Customer gives you income, and survival in the business?

Heck, we are headed to a Developed status country in 6yrs time, but we are deprived of the facilities. And I am not talking about some remote parts of Borneo.. I am staying in the Klang valley area!!

Same thing here, Sad part is that the other broadband providers claim that can not provide coverage as well while all the "Taman's" around US are connected with unifi.

Is there any official way of complaining to them or to gently ask them to start laying some cables?

Other than going to the TM Service Centre and fill up the form to apply for the line?
Meh, unless you wanna drag your wakil rakyat or bring the issue up to the local newspaper.

Funny, that WE as the CUSTOMERS, are the one who need to request TM to provide service to us!
