weibo, slow, but loadable,
i use my umobile at night, to access, no problem,
it's unifi's problem,

Same here, problem discover seem friday at for UNIFI VIP10. today, i try at my office uusing UNIBIZ and its able to access taobao.com. i wondering whether they have just accidentally blocked taobao ??

On saturday, i called UNIFI CS and being inform nothing wrong with my connection and suspect my router problem . they also have not received any other user complaint. I hope you guys can make an report on this matter so they can start investigate.

since last wednesday , i'm having problem logging into taobao account.
i thought i was the only one having problem.

but on mobile data , it seems to be okay on digi + maxis using mobile app accessing my taobao account.

Unifi soo unstable..test by speedtest.net only achieve 7mbps,,sometimes 8mbps,,hardly get 10mbps..b4 this,the best I can get is 11.75mbps..usually 7mbps speed when I download someting..this time,no downloading,no youtube,no stream whatsoever only get 7mbps..even,feel lagged browse internet..feel weird.

Use Vip 10,,area in seksyen 8 shah alam..anyone having a same problem?..lanjiao ar pay rm199 get this service, 199 is not cheap orrr,can buy a lot of things.lol

I'm also have the similar problem when I tried to login sea.taobao
Tried on both IE11 and Firefox also same thing. Tried my maxis using hp no issue.

Not sure what is going on with Unifi..

Guys! i try to called UNIFI CS, there an information regard slow connection browsing China website and they are now rectifiying the issue.

on their twitter also many people complain regarding this issue,

my connection youtube, netflix,hulu no problem, but browsing website is very slow loading and also cant enter the website

i called them for another problem, my modem died, need them to replace.
had to call 3 times, waited long time before they answer.
dont know how long they will take to come.
looks like they r bombarded by many complaints...

not just china sites...where I m now using public unifi wifi, lyn display is also weird, keyboard lags just the same way as home unifi.
that tells me something screwed up in more than one place...

using unifi Business Plan 5mbps no problem to load china web, games.

But using Home plan 20mbps cannot load at all. W.T.H TM. only can fb, email, read news.

most likely normal unifi users browse taobao , the data routes somewhere until missing , that's why no respond and we cannot login?

Business DNS and Home DNS different right?

my dead modem (3 yrs old) was replaced by unifi technician within 24 hrs of report. kudos!

zero charge as under life warranty, new modem basically just plug n play.

the new modem is bulky, twice the size of the old alcatel one.

everything good, except.... access to some china sites are still either dead or limited...

they need do some setting on modem before it can connect to internet

Can you share with us what is the make/model of the new modem that TM supplied as replacement?

I got the Huawei HG8240w with the Innatech RG4332 wireless router with my VIP5 installation about a month ago.

yes, saw he keyed in something with his laptop, probably a password. That's all.
modem is unifi property, sure they keep it secure.

new modem Alcatel-Lucent I240GT, made in china.

called also about china website problem, same answer.....will rectifiying.....

F**k TM take so long time to rectify since last Fri.

So unifi technicians installed a lot of those around my area about 3 weeks ago, Does anyone know how long will it take them to offer me unifi/streamyx? They still haven't updated their database.
