Happened to me before, turned out that Battle.net app was supposed to be updated before they update the game, but my network kinda block connections to us.battle.net or Blizzard in general (office connection, filter gaming sites). Changed to my Hotspot connection then only it updated the Battle.net then the game.

If you are at home, might want to try reopening Battle.net app, or reinstall the app.
