1. Is Degem EEE (forevermark) rating better than GIA?
Ans:
GIA is the gold standard. They may be a possibility that what they claim is true, since GIA 3EX can also be not-so-good diamonds, but on the other hand, this can be pure marketing gimmick. For Cut, I would probably start to look for something that falls within the best range of both standards in terms of proportions - Find a diamond that has Excellent Cut for Forevermark, then use the proportions and see if it meets GIA Excellent Cut. As for Symmetry and Polish, this one we can only ASSUME both are equal and interchangeable. Overall, only by sending the same diamond to grading lab can determine its 4Cs the best. I usually just tell people to trust the cert/brand you buy, if you have doubts, then find the lab report or brand that you trust better. Diamond grading is very subjective, the results can be different even if you send the same diamond back to the same lab to be reevaluated again. If you still have doubt, just get GIA graded diamonds, follow the industry standard. Even big names like Cartier, Bvlgari use GIA graded diamonds.
2. T lumiere arrow/heart design - can only get this in T?. <- What's this? I only heard "T" motif for Tiffany & Co before.
3. PK has this 101 cut I can't tell vs average 57 cuts is it worth looking at?
Ans: More facets mean it should scintillate more, at the expense of the size of the sparks. Imagine one big piece window partition into 4 smaller pieces, before that you see 1 big window with bright light, now you see 4 smaller windows with bright light, and sometimes each window's light glowing at different brightness intensity (scintillating). I actually quite like diamonds with more facets these days, but they usually come with much higher premium, making them not that worth it in comparison to the traditional 57 facets with the same 4Cs. You can probably try to view the diamonds under normal shopping light, closer to the entrance, if your PK is in one of the shopping. See if you can see any difference. You can also ask the salesperson to move the diamond slowly in a 8 circle motion (something like calibrating compass on your smartphone), and see if you any difference.

Ans: De Beers basically runs the whole show of diamond business, while GIA is more of an independent party, I would try independent party more.

0.3ct with H&A with a total budget of RM5k setting close to Solitaire Tiffany design?
Ans: Looks quite feasible. You can probably get a H&A or near H&A diamond with this budget. You want really good H&A, look at offers by Brian Gavin Diamonds, such as this one:
https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/0.307-e-...?a_aid=myengexp (affiliate link). I think they are throwing some promo now, not sure if applicable for Black by Brian Gavin, you can try ask them and see. The promo should be ending soon I think. It is for April diamond month.
