Bosses, appreciate views on the stone below. I've checked the cut estimator and it falls nicely within the intersect of both AGS ideal and GIA Ex. Don't suppose the medium fluorescence is an issue. https://www.gia.edu/report-check?reportno=6402923772Also, i've spoken with numerous sales reps and they all mentioned the color gradient drops off steeply between G and H hence they don't sell anything below G. Is this true?

QUOTE(kambingkoh @ Feb 11 2023, 08:27 PM) Hmm. Drop steeply I never hear before, but my experience is limited. Usually brands will limit their selection to certain colour and clarity for the purpose of branding or marketing. For example WhiteFlash will has a higher range which is called Collection Series and it is limited to colourless and VVS and above. Also, colour on the cert is more like reference. If the same stone is graded by another appraiser, there can be chance that the colour may go up, go down, or remain the same. Therefore, to me, is just marketing. Most important thing is whether the item bought is worth the price, that's all that matters to me I guess. As for the stone you shared, the proportions look lovely. Hopefully same can be said for the hearts and arrows which represents the overall cut quality. QUOTE(entaro @ Feb 12 2023, 06:49 PM) This stone is superb, I would buy it if I have the dough lol G-H-I-J are near colorless range, as for G vs H , this article say the SA is bs-ing lol https://selectingadiamond.com/qa-g-color-vs...whats-the-deal/I think clarity is more important and yours already VS1 which is good enough already. Thanks guys and indeed the link proves that SA mostly BS. The difference is absolutely not discernable even at 10x magnification.
