It should perform reasonably well, it is a shallow crown pair with steep pavilion, but I would prefer something with a steeper crown angle (from 33 to 35.5) for peace of mind in order to get closer to those signature diamond proportions.

one thing how do we know or see the heart/arrow? is it can be known from the report?

Proportions wise, the 2nd diamond. Proportions is not everything though. Still need see overall cut quality.

Hearts and arrows is a phenomenal that exhibit on well-cut diamonds. And no, GIA doesn't grade that so you won't see it on report, only can rely on supplier if they provide the image

I will probably just get the one that looks the nicest, which is the first one lol. But do check with ZCOVA. I believe they won't suggest you to take IF clarity (unless you insist) because there is practically not much difference compared to VS1/2 at normal view.

yes, they suggest me VVS/VS but not more than 4500 (diamond + setting) cannot get RM300 rebate and VVS/VS to IF just MYR800+ different

btw, ZCOVA is good and reliable? friend intro to me recently, the diamond + ring seems cheaper than those jewelry shop at mall if compare the diamond grade

Then you can think about it if the rebate is good. Final choice is yours.

ZCOVA is reliable as far as I know. As for cheaper or not, depends who you compare with and what you are comparing (brand, service, etc).

Hi sifus. Between TJ, Grandquover and Zcova, which would you recommend in terms of diamond and maybe design?

Give them the design you want and ask for a quote if you planning on customizing it. See their prices and workmanship.

Diamond wise, ZCOVA offers dual cert - GIA and Gemex light performance cert (for their Lumos selection). But if you manage to find a well-cut diamond with good proportions from elsewhere, then Gemex is basically good-to-have only IMO.

The arrows aren't too clear on this one. I may ask zcova for other options.

Color and clarity is subject to personal preference.

But to play objectively you don't really need to go for the best color and also high clarity. An E VS1 diamond may be just fine, for instance.

Personally I will go after a diamond with higher carat but lower color and lower clarity. As for fluorescence, i may keep it at "none" or "faint" if the price is much better.

is 0.5ct good enough for asian fingers be it thin or chubby? i know its personal opinion but i also want to know from other peoples pov. im bad at this and i tend to overthink too much.
