I'm give away my Mi3 chance to all potential Mi3 buyers too since Spore no longer hungry about Mi3 except Redmi and power bank.

It is that easy, go to the market app by xiaomi, download google app downloader, select the google apps you want, done. Gapps works too, and there's more way to do it.
Mi2 and Mi2s if I wasn't wrong Xiaomi already released the source code.

Well it's not about buying import sets or not but rather you won't just stick with stable rom all the time wouldn't you? When you play around with roms, well you'll still need to install the Gapps yourself.
