hi all,

please recommend a gpu upgrade for below setup (for gaming purpose) ;

PSU : Silverstone strider 500W
Motherboard : Asus P8Z68-V PRO
CPU : Int i7 2600 3.4ghz
Current GPU : Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6670
Monitor Resolution : 1920 x 1080

My budget is rm1k, and do i need to spent a little more to upgrade PSU as well? The gpu is almost 3 years old though.

I think add a new PSU and a new graphic card should do it. Antec VP 550w RM 199 and Gainward GTX 760 RM 799

Thanks for your recommendaiton.

not necessary for PSU

Silverstone have decent PSUs

as for GPU, yep the GTX760 will do great

hi all, do i really need a cooling system if :

1) dont overclock my hardware
2) using rm1k graphic card and i7
3) using ceiling fan from morning to eve, at night with air-con
4) play high settings game from noon till midnight and let the pc idle from midnight till the next day. basically pc is on 24/7, and maybe shut down once a week or twice.

Any reliable shop in digital mall carry this brand , zotac?? Besides, what watt do I need for psu ? I m not over clocking

if you are not overclocking..i dont think you even need 3rd party cooler in the 1st place.

just get better airflow for your case.

The assembler/technician can tell whether the air flow is good right? Cause I wanted to change my psu as well and I dunno how to change the psu have to let them do it for me...
