Hello Sifu. Want some suggestions

Im planning to build a rig between 2k-2.5k
Im thinking of getting an i3 processor and focus more of my budget on a better gc ( is that even relevant?)

For brand preference, No Asrock Mobo
prefer nvidia graphic card
and a bitfenix prodigy casing.

games to be played: bf4. bf3. dota2
-willing to top up to make my dreams come true-

Do you need a monitor? Why settle for i3, when you can have an i5? biggrin.gif

Though if going for Bitfenix Prodigy, it may break your budget.

Intel Core i5 4440 – RM559
Asrock B85M-G – RM279
Corsair Value Ram 8GB DDR3 1600MHz – RM244
WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD - RM179
Zotac GTX 760 AMP! Edition – RM899 (Cycom)
Cooler Master K380 Casing - RM149
FSP Hexa 500W PSU - RM149
Lite-On 24x DVDRW – RM59

Total - RM2517 (prices are from Viewnet)

Optional:
Bitfenix Prodigy-M - RM319 (lingloong)

im not sure if i choose i3 instead of i5 will it affect my gaming experience in terms of graphic, lag, etc? put more budget on graphic card

ill buy monitor seperately

Remember, it's all about balance... no point going with powerful GPU when the CPU starts to bottleneck....
Note that modern games can utilize 4 physical cores, or even more. icon_idea.gif

BTW, the Prodigy is not a small case to begin with. icon_idea.gif

Too big for a mini-ITX case... tongue.gif
Also, don't worry going for ASRock boards... I have no problems with that. icon_idea.gif
